The goulash was solid and the rösti came out properly crispy. Portions felt fair for what you pay. Staff took time to explain the menu, which helped.

The brunch spread was solid—fresh pastries, decent eggs, good coffee. Service was efficient, no complaints there. Price felt a bit high for what you get, but the space is cozy enough that I didn’t mind. Fine for a slow Sunday, just don’t expect a bargain.

The buffet setup is smart—you pay by weight, so portion control is easy. Cakes were the highlight for me, really fresh. Coffee did the job. Hot food area closes earlier than expected, so go early if you want the warm stuff.

Came here with a couple of friends and honestly the Crêpe Suzette Roy made was the highlight. We were just chatting and suddenly this flaming dessert shows up, so fun. The place felt a bit fancy but not stiff. Only thing is it took a while to get the bill, but we weren't in a rush anyway. Would come back for that crepe alone 😄

The shabu-shabu was the standout. Broth had real depth, meat sliced thin and cooked fast. That’s the dish I’d come back for. The igloo seating is a bit of a gimmick but fine. Didn’t care much about the rest. Just focus on the hot pot and you’re good.

The chef actually came out after our meal just to say hi—that never happens where I'm from. Service felt genuine, not scripted. Made the whole dinner feel a bit more personal, you know? Small touch, but it stuck with me.

Great spot right on the river. Sat outside on the terrace, quick service even though it was busy. Buffet was decent, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Staff were friendly, didn't have to wait long for drinks either. Solid choice if you're in the area and want a fast bite without the hassle.

Called last minute for New Year's Eve, they squeezed us in. Grandma was well looked after, food was solid.

Dropped by for a late lunch. Gang was friendly and pointed me to the duck, which was a solid call. Pad thai was decent too, fresh and not greasy. Food came out quicker than I expected. Place is a bit cramped but fine for a quick bite. Pretty good overall for the price.

Stopped by for a drink and tiramisu—the view really is the main draw. Only one server on the terrace though, she was running around but handled it fine.

The food’s been solid every time I’ve stopped by, whether I eat in or grab takeaway. Service is friendly enough, prices are fair for the area. I mostly noticed how comfortable the seating was — stayed longer than I planned just because the chairs weren’t killing my back. Nothing fancy, but it works.

The cordon bleu was proper crispy outside, cheese still oozing. Big portion, owner's dead friendly.

Walked in Saturday without a booking, manager still squeezed us in. Food came fast even with the rush. The falafel and dips were solid, though I'd have liked a better wine list to match. Free dessert was a nice touch.

The woman running the front is something else—she handles everything solo and switches between languages without missing a beat. Got there early, luckily, because they started turning people away within twenty minutes. Space is tiny, so yeah, book ahead or come right when they open. Food was solid, but honestly the service efficiency was the most impressive part.

The salad with their homemade dressing was really good, and that 'Kamasutra' dessert surprised me. Fair prices for Bern, though the room is a bit snug.

Stopped by for a quick dinner and honestly the spaghetti was the highlight—cooked just right, not mushy. Pizza came out crispy too, which I don't always get. Salad was fresh, simple. Owner actually walked us out and said goodbye, kinda nice. Place isn't fancy but you can tell they care. Maybe a bit slow between courses, but fine if you're not in a rush.

Stopped by for dinner after getting in on the train. Outdoor seating was nice, wine was solid. They adjusted a couple of dishes for me since I don't eat meat—no fuss at all. Portions are pretty small though, even for here. I left still a bit hungry, but the flavors were good enough that I didn't mind much.

Stopped by for lunch on a workday. Portions are generous, I actually had enough left over for the next morning. Thai flavors came through fresh, not heavy. Lunch menu pricing is fair for what you get. Service was quick, which I appreciated since I had a meeting after. Place gets busy around noon, so come a bit earlier if you're in a hurry.

I highly recommend the whole-grain croissants and coffee here. The staff is always cheerful, creating a welcoming environment for guests.

Freddi knows his sushi, that's for sure. Lived in Tokyo and it shows. Got the nigiri set, fish was fresh and the rice was on point. Quick and easy for a lunch stop.

Gluten-free pizza was solid, not the usual cardboard texture. Good option if you're avoiding wheat. Service was quick too.

The warm chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream was the highlight — gooey center, not too sweet. The absinthe semi-frozen dessert had that slight herbal kick, interesting. Sat by the boat dock, nice breeze. Staff let us take our time. Maybe slightly pricey for the portion, but I’d come back for that cake.

The bruschetta with smoked ham and figs really stood out to me. The figs were ripe and sweet, balanced the salty ham nicely. Filet was cooked right, tender. Cozy little room, service was attentive. Just wish the bread had been a touch warmer, but that's a small thing. I'd come back for that bruschetta again.
