Portions are huge, had to take half the pasta home. Rina was really nice, checked on us just the right amount.

Been coming here for years. Elsie and Megan always remember my name, makes you feel right at home. The garlic bread's still the best in town, crispy on the outside, soft inside. That's why I keep coming back.

Lovely little chippy right on the seafront. The chips were spot on, really crispy. Fish had a nice flavour, not bland at all. Perfect for a quiet bite by the water.

Solid spot for group dinners. Staff handled our large table well, and the 90-minute all-you-can-eat window felt just right.

The sizzling beef was full of flavour. Service was good, but the pace was a bit too leisurely for a weeknight.

Decided to try their veggie ramen. The fried tofu was a highlight - crispy outside, soft inside, really well done. Portion was decent for the price, felt like a proper meal. Would order it again.

The rotating evening menus are a nice touch. The Asian-fusion flavours are spot on, and the plates look beautiful.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, very comfortable for a night's stay.

Been coming here for years, the fish is always spot on. They'll even fry it fresh if you ask. Just a solid, reliable chippy.

Been coming here for years, and the army stew never disappoints. It's always packed with good stuff and just the right amount of heat. That's the main reason I keep coming back.

Been coming here for years. The ale is always well-kept, which is the main thing. Good range on handpull, from session bitters to something a bit stronger. Priced fairly for the area, around a fiver a pint. It's my local for a reason.

Been coming here for years, and that sharing platter never disappoints. Always piping hot, the gravy is spot on. It's the one thing I know I can count on every time.

Decent pub quiz, well-run. The complimentary buffet after was a nice touch. They also did a random cash prize draw, not just for the winners. Good for a midweek evening.

Lovely spot by the harbour. Sat outside for lunch, the view of the water was really nice. Had the grilled sea bass, it was cooked just right. A bit pricey, but you're paying for the location.

Natalia was so welcoming. The ingredients in my salad tasted incredibly fresh.

The chicken wrap here really stood out. It was packed with fresh, crisp salads and the chicken was perfectly seasoned. A solid choice for a quick lunch.

Portions are massive. One order easily covers two meals. Leftovers still tasted great the next day.

The fish was fried in beef dripping. It gave the batter a really nice flavour and made it wonderfully crisp, not greasy at all. A very comfortable spot to enjoy a meal like that.

Came here with the family, four of us. The bill was about £50 with drinks, which is pretty good these days. Portions are generous and everything was cooked just right. Solid, honest food.

The Sunday roast is a proper treat, the ox cheek in the Yorkshire pudding just melts. It's a rich, hearty plate for a lazy weekend. The whole place has that relaxed, cosy pub feel, which is exactly what you want.

The Philly cheese steak. The meat was tender, the cheese sauce had a sharpness that cut through the richness. The roll held up well, didn't get soggy. That's what I come for.
