Had a celebration in their function room. The buffet was the highlight - really liked the mix of hot and cold dishes, everything was kept fresh. Staff were on it, clearing plates quickly. The space itself was nicely decorated.

Been coming here for years, and the Scotsman breakfast never lets me down. It's massive, keeps me full till dinner. The rest of the menu's good too, but I always end up ordering the same thing.

The open kitchen is a good feature. You can see the fish being battered and fried fresh.

Good spot for a quick lunch. The spiciest dish actually had some heat, which was a plus.

Lovely spot for a relaxed evening. The music was just right, not too loud. Had the grilled octopus and a glass of Rioja. Octopus was tender, nicely charred, good portion for the price.

Great vibe and the staff were really on it. The steak was spot on, cooked just how I like it. So many good options on the menu, I was too full for pudding in the end. Definitely coming back next time we're in Scarborough.

Nice spot for a quiet lunch. The pasta was pretty good, and everything came out quickly. Staff were friendly. A bit on the pricey side for what it was, but a decent meal overall.

The fish pie was a solid choice. Decent portion and tasted fresh. Menu's not too big either, which is nice.

Been coming here for years, and their cottage pie with chunky chips is always spot on. Just simple, hearty food done right. It's the kind of reliable dish that keeps me coming back. Price is fair, too.

Curry sauce on the chips was the highlight, really made them. Mushy peas were decent. Just a quick lunch stop, but that sauce is a game changer.

Stopped by for breakfast. The flavoured porridge was really good – had the apple cinnamon one. Decent portion for the price.

The interior is like a grand old ballroom, really unique. Felt a bit fancy just having a casual lunch in there. The high ceilings and chandeliers are something else.

Friendly staff and the prices are good. The chicken tikka masala was nice, but I really appreciated how fresh the vegetables in the side salad were. Crisp and vibrant, not wilted at all. That attention to ingredients makes a difference for me.

The garlic bread with cheese is a classic. Their house red is a solid match for it, too. Been a regular for years.

Great for a quick bite with the dog. Found a table straight away, which is a huge plus. Food came out fast too. Had the fish and chips, decent portion. Perfect for when you're out with the pup and need something efficient.

The garlic mushrooms were so good we ended up ordering a second plate to share. Perfect for a casual catch-up.

Food's legit. Took a bit to come out, but you can tell it's made fresh. Flavours are spot on. Good for a quick, proper bite.

Been coming here for years. The mixed vegetarian platter they put together is always spot on, especially the paneer tikka. It's nice to have a place that gets it right every time.

The dressed crab and tuna nicoise were huge portions and tasted really fresh.

The takeaway was ready right on time. Food arrived piping hot and really flavourful. Just what you want for a cosy night in.

Mr. V's service was so thoughtful. You can tell this place has been a local favourite for decades.

Busy Saturday night but the wait wasn't bad at all. Their Caesar salad really stood out – the dressing had a nice anchovy kick and the romaine was super crisp. A solid choice for a quick bite.

Came in without a reservation and was pleasantly surprised. The staff were really friendly and attentive throughout.

The bar staff were so friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed chatting with them, they made us feel very well looked after.

Been coming here for years. The big windows are a big part of why I keep coming back. Just feels bright and relaxed every time, even on a grey day. A solid spot.

The basement private room was ideal for our group of 20. Staff were attentive and the space felt secluded without being cramped. It was a nice, relaxed setup for the evening.

The portions here are huge, we ordered two mains and it was easily enough for three. Food was pretty good and authentic. Service was decent and friendly. A solid spot for a casual meal.

Had a late breakfast here. The ingredients were top-notch, cooked just right. Coffee was strong and smooth, staff were really friendly. A solid spot for a lazy morning.

This is my new go-to spot in town. The staff are so friendly and attentive, which makes the whole experience so relaxed. I had the grilled sea bass last time and it was cooked perfectly. A really nice place for a quiet meal.
