The burgers here are solid, but the portion size for the price left me a bit underwhelmed. My partner's was fine, but mine felt a touch on the small side. Still tasty, just wish there was a bit more to it.

Been coming here for years. Food's always quick and hot, just like they say. Good spot for my regular monthly meet-up with mates. Staff are friendly, makes it easy.

Been coming here for years. The food's still as good as I remember, and the staff are just as friendly. It's nice to see a place that doesn't change for the worse. Had the steak pie again, spot on.

Loved the vibe here. The decor is just beautiful, really sets a relaxed mood for a meal. It felt warm and inviting the moment we stepped in.

The garlic naan is loaded with garlic, which is exactly what I wanted. Portions are huge, had to get a box.

The spinach and blue cheese croquettes were a lovely surprise. The rest of the tapas selection felt solid and authentic.

Ipfu's my usual sushi fix in York. The chicken gyoza are spot on. They had a decent Pinot Noir by the glass that worked surprisingly well with the richer dishes. Always clean, feels relaxed.

The espresso martini was spot on. Strong coffee flavour, not too sweet, and a proper creamy foam on top. The view was a bonus, but honestly, I'd come back just for that drink.

Been living here for years, and this place is a solid choice when you want something different. The food tastes like the real deal. Service is friendly without being over the top. A nice change from the usual.

Early bird menu is solid value. Had the steak special, portion was decent. The free starter was a nice gesture. Service was efficient. Good option for a quick, reasonably priced dinner before 7pm.

Visiting York for Christmas and needed some Vietnamese food. The pho and shrimp cakes were spot on, really hit the spot. The place itself is nice and cosy, just what you want on a cold day.

Open kitchen with charcoal grill is a vibe. You can see them working. Got the ribeye, cooked just right. That smoky flavor though.

Been to many curry houses, but their bhuna and balti really stood out. The flavours were spot on, rich and deep. Just a solid, satisfying meal.

Been coming here for years. The service is always spot on, they really make you feel looked after. It's a family-run place, and you can tell they care. The atmosphere is cozy, perfect for a quiet dinner.

They had a little bowl of water and some dog biscuits ready. My dog was happy with the treats, seemed like good quality. That's about all I noticed.

Been coming here for years. The scones are always homemade, clotted cream is spot on. Haven't tried their beers yet, but that's next on the list.

Really liked the vibe here. It's a small, cosy place with nice decor and feels quite warm. Everything was spotless, even the loos. A nice change from the usual chains.

Came for lunch, got the pizza and starter combo with a drink. All that for about £17? Honestly, the portion sizes were generous, especially the pizza. Felt like a proper meal, not a snack. Good deal for what you get.

Grilled peach and pistachio pizza was a standout. The homemade ice cream with a soft biscuit was a good way to end the meal.

Our server really knew his wines and helped us navigate the menu with our allergies.

The Sunday sharing board is massive, plenty for two. The meats were cooked just right, and the veg was lovely. We ended up not needing those extra sides at all. Just a really nice, relaxed meal.

Been here a few times now. The food is always spot on – the lamb shank last night was cooked perfectly, just fell off the bone. Staff are really friendly, remember your name. A solid local.

The cheddar and sweetcorn fritters were spot on. Good tapas selection and a decent IPA to go with it.

It's BYO, so you can bring your own bottle. They give you glasses and a corkscrew, no extra charge. Makes for a nice, relaxed evening out.

The handmade tortillas here are the real deal. You can taste the quality in the corn, and the texture is spot on. That's what makes their tacos stand out for me.

First time here and the staff were so welcoming. The waiter took time to explain the ingredients in detail, which I really appreciated.

Popped in for a late lunch and found it very relaxing. The staff were so friendly and welcoming right away, which made everything easy. The food was tasty, and I appreciated how comfortable the booths were—nice and spacious. A pleasant, hassle-free spot.

Been coming here for years. Food's always on point, never disappoints. Just solid, flavourful stuff every time. My go-to spot.

The fish and chips were spot on. Even on a packed Friday, we got our food super quick. The staff were lovely, saying goodbye to everyone on their way out. A solid find.
