Portions are massive. One order easily covers two meals. Leftovers still tasted great the next day.

The fish was fried in beef dripping. It gave the batter a really nice flavour and made it wonderfully crisp, not greasy at all. A very comfortable spot to enjoy a meal like that.

The Sunday roast is a proper treat, the ox cheek in the Yorkshire pudding just melts. It's a rich, hearty plate for a lazy weekend. The whole place has that relaxed, cosy pub feel, which is exactly what you want.

The Philly cheese steak. The meat was tender, the cheese sauce had a sharpness that cut through the richness. The roll held up well, didn't get soggy. That's what I come for.

The salmon and poached eggs on their homemade focaccia was a solid breakfast. The coffee was strong, just how I like it. Service was quick and friendly that morning. The place itself has a really nice, relaxed vibe - lots of natural light and comfy seating.

The homemade soup was lovely. Fish and scips were good too, nice view of the harbour.

Waited a bit at lunch, but you can tell everything is made to order. The salad greens were so crisp and fresh, you could taste the difference. Worth the extra few minutes for ingredients that feel properly cared for.

Been coming here for years. The staff are consistently friendly, which is what keeps me coming back.

Great service, and the food was spot on. They even slipped a Christmas card in with our takeaway, a nice touch. The wine list had some interesting local options that paired well with the meal.

The cask ale here is spot on. It's got that perfect cellar temperature, not too cold, and the flavour is really clean. They keep it well. The selection's decent too, a few local ones on. Makes for a good pint.

The set meal was a solid choice, good portions for the price. Everything arrived steaming hot, which I always appreciate. Just a bit more seasoning would've been perfect for me.
