Came for drinks and ended up staying for a bite. The heated outdoor seating is a proper win on a chilly evening. Connie, our server, was spot on with the recommendations and really looked after us.

A really dog-friendly spot. The staff were nice and brought water for our puppy without us asking. Made for a pleasant lunch. The food was decent, though a bit pricey for what it was.

The staff are so friendly even when it's packed! We were a big group and they handled it all with a smile, never felt rushed. Made our catch-up dinner so much easier.

Proper old-school pub, complete with an open fire and the football on the telly. The landlord Simon is a proper character, really makes you feel at home. Just the spot for a cosy pint.

Stopped in for a burger while traveling. The patty was clearly fresh and the portion was generous for the price.

Charlotte was so lovely and made the evening feel special. The vegan desserts were a nice surprise!

Found this hidden gem down an alley. The vibe is super cozy, feels like a real Spanish place. Music was spot on. But honestly, the portions were a bit on the small side for the price. Left feeling like I needed a snack later.

I'm a big fan of their roast. The beef was so tender, and the roast potatoes had that perfect crispy edge. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The only thing is, I wish there was a lighter side salad option to go with it.

The vibe here is just right for a casual night out. It's warm and buzzing, but not so loud you can't hear your mates. Really liked the lighting and the comfy booths.

Great beer garden for a sunny afternoon. Their house ale paired nicely with the relaxed vibe, and the ping pong table was a fun touch.

Found this spot for a Sunday roast with mates. The roast beef was spot on, and the sides were just right. Staff were so lovely, really made us feel welcome. A bit of a wait for the food, but worth it for a chilled Sunday catch-up.

Despite being a bit crowded, the bar offers a nice selection of drinks and a warm ambiance, especially with the heat lamps outside.

Steak and ale pie was proper good. Hearty filling, flaky crust. Felt like a proper locals' spot in Burford. Got busy later, glad we booked.

Stopped by for a pint and ended up staying for dinner. The steak and ale pie was proper comfort food, really hit the spot on a drizzly evening. Just a classic, no-fuss pub.

Been coming here for years, mostly for lunch. Food's always fresh and they don't mess it up. Menu's got enough to keep it interesting. Had the fish and chips today, crispy batter, good portion. Reliable spot.

Loved the historic feel at The Bear Inn, especially the low ceilings and wooden beams. It's a cozy spot. My salad was fresh, with crisp greens and a light dressing. The ingredients tasted very wholesome. A nice, quiet lunch.

Weekend menu is a treat! The fish and chips were lovely, but what really stood out was the freshness. You could tell the ingredients were top-notch. The Scotch egg was a nice surprise too, really homemade.

The views down over the valley are beautiful. The service is friendly and we had 3 lovely meals - chicken pasta, ham, egg and chips and a burger followed by delicious puds. Best meal we've had in a long time and the dog had a warm welcome too!

The cocktails are really creative. I liked the one with the spiced pear syrup, it had a nice kick. The bar area itself is quite cosy, good for a relaxed drink.

The Sunday roast here is a generous portion, and the parsnips and carrots were lovely. Service was quick, which was nice. My only small note is that the seats are a bit hard for a long, relaxed meal.

Popped in for a special occasion and the staff were so sweet – they even surprised us with a glass of bubbly! The service really made the night. The view over the harbour is a bonus, too.

The steak was cooked exactly as I asked, medium rare with a nice sear. Juicy and flavourful, just how I like it. The peppercorn sauce was a bit too salty for my taste, but the meat itself was spot on.
