Huge portions here, really good value. Got the family platter to share, it was packed with flavour. Could barely finish it all.

The sriracha tater tots were a real treat, and the halloumi fries were perfectly salty. I found the bar stools a bit high for a long sit, but the staff were lovely about finding me a more comfortable spot.

Came here after a recommendation from the outdoor shop next door. The lamb chops were cooked just right, and the sommelier suggested a lovely Malbec that paired beautifully. Prices felt fair for the quality. A solid spot.

Love this little spot for catching up with friends! The vibe is just right for a relaxed afternoon. Their selection of wines from midday is solid, and they're really good with customising drinks if you have any dietary needs. A nice independent find.

Nice vibe for a proper sit-down. The decor is spot on, not too loud. Felt relaxed just being there. Good for a quiet catch-up.

Lovely homemade cakes in a historic building. The staff were really friendly, which made for a relaxed visit.

Been here a few times. The calamari is always spot on, and the chips are proper chunky. Fish was a bit greasy this time, but it's still a decent local option.

The polenta chips are the main event here. Perfectly crisp outside, creamy inside. The menu's short, which is fine because they've nailed these. Could eat a whole plate myself.

The staff were really friendly and the service was spot on. The chicken night special was lovely, just a shame we were too full for pudding.

Quick bite after work. The pub's got a decent beer garden, good size for a pint. Atmosphere's warm, friendly. Perfect spot to catch the game with the locals. Just what I needed.

Perfect spot for meeting up with friends! Right in town centre, and the free car park out back is a lifesaver.

They've really done up the outdoor bit since I was last here. It's a nice spot now, loads of comfy seating and proper shade. Perfect for a lazy afternoon.

Tasting menu was lovely. Each course had its own thing going on, flavours were clear. You could really taste the local produce. The scallop dish was a standout for me. A bit of a wait between courses, but that's fine when the food is this considered.

The back garden is a real find. So quiet and tucked away from the street. Had my lunch out there in the sun, it was just lovely. A proper little escape.

Been coming here for years. The tempura shrimp is always spot on - crispy, not greasy. That’s the one thing I keep ordering, and it’s never let me down.

Wanted a burger that wasn't from a chain. The Escobar burger here was really good, and the loaded fries were tasty. But for what you get, the price felt a bit high.

The staff here are so lovely. Ravi and Henry in particular were really helpful when we were choosing our dishes, and they made sure we had everything we needed. It felt very welcoming, which is always nice.

The three-course menu had some nice options. I went for the grilled fish main - it was cooked perfectly, and the vegetables on the side tasted really fresh. A solid choice if you're looking for something light and well-prepared.

Shared the meat platter. Everything was tasty, and the price felt fair. The lamb was especially good. Just a solid, straightforward meal.

The black cod was incredible, but honestly the portions were a bit small for the price. The Wagyu was the same - fantastic flavour, just not a lot on the plate. You're definitely paying for the quality here, not the quantity.

The chips and cheese with doner meat is my go-to. It's always solid, even if the main kebabs can be a bit hit or miss.

Food was excellent. Service top-notch, friendly and actually knew the menu. Place looks great, nice vibe.

Popped in for the Scone Fest special. Really liked the unusual flavours, and the scones were warm and light. Nice vibe in here.

Came in for lunch, vegan options are clearly marked which is handy. The veggie tempura was really crisp, and they made the gyoza ramen vegan for me. Nice to not have to ask a million questions.

Great spot for a group lunch! The pasta is clearly fresh, and the staff were really nice when we mentioned one dish was a bit salty.

Breakfast was the main event. Their full English is exactly what you want, and the price felt right. My only note: the coffee was a bit weak for my taste. The veggie options on the menu did look appealing though.

Stumbled upon this place by chance. The vegan options are pretty good, and the spicy sauce has a decent kick to it. A solid find.

Been coming here for years. The food is always spot on, and they don't shy away from the proper chilli heat. Presentation's nice too. It's become my reliable local for a proper Thai curry.

The pit-master platter was huge for two people, seriously. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, and the brisket had a great smoky crust. Some of the best BBQ I've had in a while.

The ramen broth was really rich and flavourful, and the chicken katsu was perfectly crispy without being oily. Portions are generous, and the food arrives piping hot.
