Cozy spot, good for a business lunch. Our server Alice was attentive, got our orders right and timed the courses well. The food was solid, no complaints there. Efficient service made the meeting productive.

The Captain's breakfast was a proper treat, very generous. The scrambled eggs were just right, not too runny. Staff were lovely and attentive, which made for a relaxed morning.

The Tom Yum Goong was spot on, and they have a decent wine list for a Thai place. The staff are genuinely friendly, which is nice. A bit on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for.

Ordered takeaway for the first time. The portions were huge, honestly. Got the chicken curry and a side of rice, and there was enough left for a full lunch the next day. Food was tasty and felt proper home-style.

Such a lovely spot to stop for tea. The cake was nice, but the best part was seeing a few dogs curled up by their owners' feet. It just felt so cosy and relaxed.

Nice spot by the river for a coffee. The outdoor seats have a great view of the harbour. My latte was fine, but at £4.50 for a regular cup, it felt a bit steep for what it was. You're definitely paying for the location here.

The panko calamari rings were so good! Light, crispy, not chewy at all. Perfect for sharing with friends over a few drinks. The scampi was nice too, but those calamari are the real star.

Nice to find a dog-friendly spot with a good drink selection. The chairs were comfy for a longer sit.

Popped in for a quick pint and ended up staying for dinner. The steak and ale pie was proper comfort food - rich gravy and really tender beef. Just what you need on a damp evening.

Lovely little pub, the staff were so friendly. Had a couple of pints of their house ale, which was spot on. Shame there's no food, but still a nice spot for a drink.

Great spot for a quick bite. The loaded fries were solid, and the cortado hit the spot. Staff were friendly, place is clean. Heads up, no toilets here, but there's a public one just round the corner. 👍

The lemon loaf is the real star here. I popped in late afternoon, not expecting much, but they were just pulling a fresh batch out of the oven. It was still warm, super moist, and had the perfect tang. A lovely little find.

The staff were so lovely, really made us feel welcome. They even brought a bowl of water and a little treat for our dog, which was a thoughtful gesture. The wine list had some interesting local options, though a few more by-the-glass choices would be nice.

Decent pub, nice vibe. The kids' meals are a decent size for the price, which is a relief these days. My little one finished his fish fingers and chips, so that's a win.

Really nice staff here, super friendly and attentive. Felt like they genuinely wanted you to have a good time, not just going through the motions. Made the whole meal feel relaxed.

Max is a gem. Always checking in, making sure you're looked after. He remembers what you like, which is a nice touch. My glass was never empty, felt like a proper local spot.

The breakfast buffet is a solid choice for a group! Good spread of hot items and pastries. The oat milk was a nice find for my friend who's dairy-free. Staff were really on it with the coffee refills. Made for a relaxed, chatty morning.

A nice spot with a decent buzz. The building itself is lovely and historic. The staff were friendly and knew a bit about the pub's past, which was a nice touch. Food was fine, though the service was a little slow.

Cosy little spot, tables are always spotless. Booked a week ahead for a Friday dinner. The grilled sea bream was just right, skin crispy, flesh moist. Portion felt a bit small for the price, but the cooking was spot on.

Lunch set menu, three courses for £23.50. Solid deal for the quality. Food came out quick, which is key for a midweek break. Jess was great, very efficient. Got me in and out in under an hour.

Window seat with a cracking view of the bay. Food looked the part too. Nice to eat without the seagulls trying to nick your chips.

Been here a few times now. The team is always really nice and helpful, which makes a difference. They remembered my usual order last time. Just a good, relaxed vibe because of them.

Been here a few times now. The croissants are spot on, flaky and buttery. Sweet potato hash is solid too, simple but done right. It’s the kind of place that just gets the basics.
