The food is cooked to order, which is nice. But for the price, the portions are a bit on the small side. It's okay for a quick bite in the Barbican, but I left still feeling a bit peckish.

Service was attentive, they kept our water glasses full and checked if we wanted more chips. Didn't have to look for anyone.

Been coming here for years, and the roast veg with wild garlic dressing is the reason. It's always spot on. That covered outdoor bit is a nice touch too, especially when it drizzles. Just a solid, reliable plate.

As a meat eater, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the food here! The flavours are so delicate and vibrant. Perfect for a relaxed catch-up with friends. The mushroom bao buns were a real highlight.

Lovely spot right on the water. Sat outside in the sun and the grilled octopus starter was so fresh and tender. A bit pricey for the portion, but the view made up for it.

Dog-friendly, which is a plus. Had the avocado toast for breakfast, decent portion. Coffee was fine. A bit noisy inside when it got busy, but overall a chill spot.

Perfect for a quick lunch. Fish and chips are spot on, crispy batter and fresh fish every time. Service is fast and friendly, they get you in and out. My go-to for a reliable bite.

Great spot for gluten-free options. Their bread was so good I had to grab a loaf to take home. Nice and relaxed after checking out the hall opposite.

Food was spot on for a quiet Monday. The owner even chatted about growing chillies, which was a nice touch.

We have eaten here each type we visit Plymouth. Food is out of this world, both tasty and nutritious. Excellent catering for all tastes and dietary requirements. A must visit. Friendly and welcoming staff and service

The lobster and crab were spot on, really fresh and served hot. Portions are huge though, almost too much for two.

They squeezed us in on a busy bank holiday! Service was quick and super polite, which was a lifesaver when we were all trying to catch up. Made the whole evening so much easier.

Lovely, cosy pub. The fire was lit, and the whole place just felt warm and welcoming. Had the steak and ale pie - proper comfort food, really hit the spot. Just a nice, relaxed evening.

Been coming here for years, and the layout is what keeps me coming back. The tables are spaced just right – you can actually have a conversation without feeling like you're on top of the next table. It's a rare thing these days.

Been coming here for years. The free car park out back is a lifesaver, especially on busy weekends. Place is always spotless, which I appreciate. Just a reliable spot for a straightforward meal.

Portions are huge here, honestly. We ordered the pasta and a salad, ended up taking half of it home. Good value, but maybe start with one less dish than usual.

Friendly staff, quick to refill water and check in. They remembered we'd been before, which was a nice touch. Service felt attentive without being overbearing.

The new ordering screens are handy. Got the spicy chicken ramen, broth was rich and the noodles had a good bite. The chicken itself was a bit dry though.

The sausage roti was a solid, hearty choice. What really stood out for me was the freshness of the ingredients in the eggs benedict. The hollandaise had a nice, subtle kick without being too heavy. A good spot for a mindful breakfast.

Nick's cooking is a real highlight here. The lamb stew had that lovely, slow-cooked depth you'd hope for at home. A nice, comforting spot in Millbrook.

The staff were so cheerful and attentive, which made the whole evening really pleasant. Even when it was busy, service was efficient. My only small note is that the chairs could be a bit more comfortable for a longer meal.

Booked ahead and got a table by the window. The view of the harbour was lovely, really made the evening. Service was friendly and attentive, which I always appreciate. The seat was comfortable too, no rushing you out. A very pleasant spot for a relaxed meal.

Been coming here for weekend lunches lately. The crispy squid (Ike Age) is spot on every time - super fresh, perfectly crisp. It's a nice, relaxed spot to unwind. Staff are always friendly.

Been coming here for years, and it's the welcome that keeps me coming back. The owner always remembers my name, and the staff make you feel like you're just popping into a friend's place. It's that consistency that matters.

Decent portion sizes, and the curry sauce was spot on. I paired it with a crisp lager, which worked surprisingly well. Prices are fair. A good, no-fuss lunch.

The sushi school class was solid. Brandon knows his stuff, no doubt. We made maki and nigiri, and the fish quality was decent. Came away with a full platter to take home. The hands-on part is what you're paying for, really.

The Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki with the extra noodle layer was spot on. Really took me back to those little street stalls. A bit pricey for what it is, but the flavour was just right.
