TheForkUserLovely setting in a beautiful village- we enjoyed the lake view sunset over a glass of Prosecco. Dinner was wonderful and our waiter was absolutely brilliant!
TheForkUserVery nice setting and dining experience. Good attentive service. Excellent food. Veal cheeks were the best that I have had and the pici pasta was delicious. The wine list was exceptional- great bottle of vino nobile riserva.
TheForkUserThe calzone and the pizza were amazing!!also the waitress she was so nice
TheForkUserThe food was amazing and the service was great. Claudio is a real showman!! A little pricey but well worth the money.
TheForkUserGreat food, simple but perfectly prepared in the tradition of la cucina italiana. Large portions, excellent and very affordable wines, and delightful service. Worth a trip down the hill from the old town. Very convenient to the Arena Santa Giuliana.
TheForkUserI didn't expect to receive a 30% discount even though I made a reservation in advance, but they applied the discount to me upon confirmation of my reservation. It was a very dramatic restaurant and I was able to end the day with a decent dinner.
TheForkUserGiacomo is an excellent chef and suoer host. His staff is well trained, efficient and very friendly, and the food is excellent. Highly recommended.
TheForkUserEnjoyable food. More than 100 wines by glass to choose from and of good quality and reasonable prices. Good wine recommendations provided. Possibility to sit indoor and outdoor. Good service.
TheForkUserA lovely venue with fantastic food and excellent service. A short ride outside of Siena, the restaurant is surrounded by farmland. Wonderful experience.
TheForkUserThe newly renovated restaurant and enoteca is perfect. We’ve been twice recently and it may be our favorite place in the Chiusi area!
TheForkUserGreat meal, unique local ingredients and great original twists on traditional recipes. Service great, very informative and amusing but speed was slowish for us. Didn't take away from the wonderful peaceful atmosphere - very romantic.
TheForkUserWe went to this restaurant because they could do gluten free. They were very helpful in explaining the dishes. The dishes were interesting and tasty and the wine very good for the price. I would have no hesitation in returning.
TheForkUserWe went as a group of 6 for dinner and had a great time. This is a true Irish Pub with dark wood throughout, a real walk up bar with ice cold tap beer and dart boards! All of this was a nice surprise as pubs don't really exist in this area. They also have the best hamburgers in Tuscany, maybe in all of Italy plus a full menu to delight everyone. We have been 3 times in 2 weeks, so I guess you could say we HIGHLY recommend a visit!
TheForkUserThe hand made pasta is highly recommended. The environment is simple and pleasant. The deserts are a must
TheForkUserThe waiter doesn't speak English, and the menu was entirely in Italian. Luckily, I can speak basic Italian and also used Google Translate. The first dishes we had were excellent (2 with Burrata cheese and the Cupa Cupa salad), but they were huge, and then we couldn't enjoy the second dishes. The hamburger was without a bun.The grilled chicken was excellent. We liked the grilled veal less. They don't serve tea.Take into account that the restaurant is on a steep hill. There are 2 parking spaces on the hill, otherwise you need to park on the street and climb uphill.Good toilets.
TheForkUserWonderful setting! The outside patio is nice and airy with lovely oversized umbrellas. The menu is creative and a tasty offering of seasonal flavors.
TheForkUserWe had an amazing dinner at Le Terre de Cavalieri. So good in fact, we went back the day after. It is a lovely setting in an old farmhouse. The employees and chef are very friendly and hospitality is their brand. Last but definitely not least, the food is fantastic. A gorgeous mix of classic Italian with new flavours. Both fish and meat are great, but as the chef himself says: “he was born with his feet in the water”. A must see and taste for every foodie
TheForkUserEvery year this restaurant and winebar is on our list. Always great. Very good food, great wines and lovely people. Never ever change a wi ning team. When in Montalcino, .... have lunch, drink wine or have dinner at Svaenen.
TheForkUserFantastic food, the pasta dish was a personal highlight, as well as my partner's main course. The local wine accompanied the food perfectly. Also the waitress serving us was outstanding, being extremely attentive, affable and professional. We are booked in again for Tuesday, it is that good.
TheForkUserWonderful place- we sat outside and it felt like the whole town was eating dinner together. Cozy and family oriented with great food. Interior dining rooms were also super pretty.
TheForkUserLovely restaurant in a beautiful and spotlessly clean little Umbrian hill town. There are tables outside under an arcade, so cool on the hot evening. Outstanding for Slow Food aficionados: everything is local and cooked with great care and attention to detail. Two different menus: Umbrian traditional and gourmet. Good wine list featuring excellent local makers. We've been here several times before and they just keep getting better and better. Kind and attentive service.
TheForkUserThe wait staff are so attentive and give such good service. Pasta was delicious and desserts were even better. To top it off, coffee was divine.
_TI***1oThis restaurant is a hidden gem with a charming ambiance and a menu that offers great value for money. The quality of the food is impressive, making it a must-visit.
TheForkUserConstantly changing interesting and very tasty seasonal menu , friendly and helpful service, great wine list .. perfect
TheForkUserNice place obviously specialising in meat dishes. Tartare was absolutely wonderful, tagliata slightly less so — tasty but nothing to write home about. Pork ribs was ok. As desert we had chocolate and rhum gelato — now THAT was quite something! All in all, a pleasant experience.
TheForkUserWe booked at the last minute through The Fork, and in reality, the place was full. We were given the option to wait or to leave. The staff were nice except for the cashier, who seemed upset that we chose to wait (it was late and we weren't in the mood to look for something else). Other than that, the food was good.
