Lovely traditional space, very spacious. Came for a quiet drink and really appreciated the calm atmosphere. The seating is comfortable and there&#39;s plenty of it, which is nice. A good spot if you need some space to unwind.

First time back in ages and the place feels totally different. They&#39;ve really spruced up the decor, it&#39;s a lot more cosy now. I like the new vibe.

Came here for a quick lunch, honestly wasn&#39;t expecting much. Got the daily pasta special. For &pound;9.50, the portion was huge, I couldn&#39;t finish it all. Exactly what I needed.

The John Brodie is a fantastic local pub with a great selection of drinks and an extensive food menu. The staff are always accommodating and make you feel welcome, even bringing treats for our dog!

Nice spot to sit outside and watch the world go by on a sunny afternoon. The outdoor chairs were comfy, which made it easy to relax. Just a simple, pleasant place for a casual drink.
