Stopped in for a pint. Love the old-school vibe and all the random stuff on the walls. Just a really chill spot to sit and relax for a bit. The Guinness was poured perfectly.

The Christmas set menu is a good deal at £30. The beef was so tender it just fell apart. My only note is that the seating was a bit cramped for a relaxed meal, but the service was very friendly.

Been here for a book club meet-up. It's a proper friendly local pub, good atmosphere. Just a bit loud with the music on, makes chatting a bit tricky. Still, a nice spot.

Staff are amazing ..very friendly and approachable without encroaching on our personal space . Went through the menu with me as I have a nut allergy.A hidden gem , lots of little private booths as well as a large open area. Outside wet garde which was clean and tidy.Food was excellent with a good variety and reasonably priced.Would definitely eat here again.

The homemade pork pie was the highlight for me. The pastry was flaky and the filling tasted really fresh, not overly processed. It paired nicely with a pint. The rest of the menu is simple, but everything is cooked well.

Came in from the rain. It was so cosy in there. The staff were lovely to our dog, which really made a difference on a gloomy day. Just a warm, welcoming spot to dry off.

Had a lovely lunch here. The seniors menu had a good variety. I went for the fish and chips - the batter was crisp, not greasy at all, and the chips were proper thick-cut. Portion was just right for me.

Nice big space right in the centre. The pizza was good, but the crust was a little too charred for my liking. The americano had a proper kick though, which I appreciated.

Lovely quirky place, lots of interesting seating areas. Found a hidden garden terrace upstairs which was a nice surprise. Had a really relaxed drink there, the atmosphere was so cozy.

Friendly staff, and the cocktails are a steal! Food arrived super quick, perfect for when you're in a rush. That spicy margarita was just right. 😊

Been coming here for years. The owner remembers my name and my usual order, and that’s the main reason I keep coming back. It’s just consistent, you know? Makes it feel like a proper local spot.

Monica and the team are super friendly and efficient. Got my chicken wrap and coffee in under 5 minutes, perfect for a quick lunch. Service with a smile makes a difference when you're in a rush.

Great spot to unwind with the dog after a walk. Staff were lovely with him. Their house red was a surprisingly good match for the rustic vibe. Solid drinks list overall.

Loved the vintage look here, especially the beautiful tiled facade. It's a classic. The interior has that lovely, authentic feel. A really nice spot for a quiet drink.

Lemon beer was the highlight. Tried it on a quiet Tuesday evening. Really crisp and refreshing. The rest of the menu looked good too. Solid spot in Woolton.

Popped in for a pint and ended up staying for the live set. Just a local band, but the vibe was spot on. Really friendly crowd, felt like a proper neighbourhood spot. Pint was a bit pricey though.

The cocktail masterclass was a nice way to spend an afternoon. The instructor was clear and walked us through each step. I appreciated learning about the fresh ingredients they use in the syrups and garnishes. It felt like a good, hands-on activity.

The cocktails at this bar are absolutely fantastic, with a great selection that includes both classic and innovative options. The bartenders are clearly skilled and know how to create a memorable drink experience.

Bartenders were great. Knew the menu inside out, explained everything without rushing. Made the whole quick lunch feel a bit more considered. 👍

Been coming here for years, always before my train. That pint of bitter is just right every single time. It’s the one thing I can always count on.

Been here a few times now, always solid. The beer selection is really good, and honestly the prices are way better than most places around here. Just a decent spot for a pint.

Nice spot for a post-walk pint by the canal. The service is always friendly and reliable, which I appreciate.

Stumbled in to get out of the rain. The staff were really friendly and the place had a cosy, homely vibe. Had a simple soup and a coffee, just what I needed. Stayed longer than I planned.

Been coming here for years, and the staff are always so helpful with my dietary needs. They never make a fuss, just quietly sort it out. Makes it easy to relax and enjoy the meal.

Had our event in a private room, really nice setup. Mark was our host, handled everything smoothly, kept things moving. Made the evening relaxed, no fuss. Good for a group.

Been coming here for years, and the team always remembers my usual. They'll even whip up something off-menu if I'm in the mood for a change. That kind of consistent, friendly service is why I keep coming back.

Lovely, welcoming vibe here. The drinks are the real star though — had a fantastic cocktail that was surprisingly well-priced. Will be back for that alone.
