Tried the Yemeni lamb and Somali fish here. Both were solid, authentic East African dishes. Menu's extensive with Eritrean options too. Good for a straightforward meal if you're in the area.

I'm a regular for lunch and love that the salads are always fresh. The weekly menu changes keep things interesting – I never get bored.

The connoisseur burger is a real winner. Honestly, the best takeaway burger I've had around here. The fries were spot on too, loads of them. Perfect for grabbing with mates after a long day. Staff are always lovely, which just adds to it.

Decent pub grub for the price. The steak and ale pie was hearty, gravy was spot on. Had to wait a bit for a table on a Friday night, so yeah, booking is a must.

Food was spot on, but we had to wait a bit for a table inside. The wine list was decent though, found a nice Pinot that went perfectly with the steak. Maybe book ahead on weekends.

The new menu is solid. Food quality is noticeably better than before, service was efficient. Good for a business dinner.

Took my friends here for a catch-up. The staff were so lovely, especially when one of us was being a bit indecisive! Made the whole table feel really looked after. Food was great, too.

Service was on point even when they were packed. My American breakfast was just the right size and tasted really good. Great spot for a chill catch-up with friends.

Nice spot for a coffee. The staff were very helpful with a dietary request, and the chairs were surprisingly comfortable.

Been coming here for years, and the brisket is always the reason. It’s just so consistently tender and smoky. That’s the one thing I know I can count on every single visit.

Came back after years away and it still smells exactly like it did when I was a kid in the 80s. That alone was a lovely surprise. The staff were just as friendly too.

The mustardy green sauce on the street food is incredible. It has a sharp, fresh kick that cuts through everything. The rice is unique too, almost nutty. Those two things make the food here stand out.

Been coming here for years. The staff are always so friendly and remember my usual order. It’s just a really nice, relaxed spot for a casual bite. That consistency is what keeps me coming back.

Hired Jo for a garden party. The bar setup was the highlight – really well thought out with nice little details. Jo was lovely to deal with. It all came together nicely.

The beer garden is such a vibe on a sunny day! Perfect spot for catching up with mates. We had a pizza and a pint for a tenner, which is a steal. Just wish the service was a bit quicker, but still a good time.

The full English was spot on! The bacon was crispy, the eggs runny just how I like it. The gentleman serving us was so lovely and chatty, made our little catch-up feel extra relaxed. A really nice vibe for a lazy weekend brunch with friends.

The crème brûlée pancakes were pretty good. The custard had a nice texture and the caramelised top was a pleasant crunch.

Popped in for a quick coffee. The Allpress brew is always spot on, really smooth. Staff are friendly and had a nice chat. Makes for a good little stop.

The private function room was perfect for our family Christmas meal. Staff were really welcoming.

The staff were really helpful with our large group, even without a booking. They had a decent wine list which made choosing a bottle easy.

The pink decor is nice and the chairs are comfortable. Had a decent grilled cheese and a pretty good iced coffee. Staff were friendly. Music was a bit loud for my taste, but it was a fine spot for a quick lunch.

The Colombian breakfast was a nice change from the usual. I liked the vegetarian twist.

The breakfast sandwich in the croissant puck was a real find. Egg, hash brown, that special mayo... gone before I could even think of a photo.

We were welcomed immediately we walked in. Service was swift, friendly and courteous. Food was lovely, everybody in our party very impressed. Thank You to Jen. We will definately come back again.

The scrambled eggs here are spot on. Cooked fresh, served hot, not too dry. That's the main thing for a quick breakfast. The coffee is decent too, a good strong cup. It's just a solid, straightforward plate.
