The Knickerbocker Glory is a proper treat. Freshly made, loads of fruit and cream. It's the real deal, just like it should be. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Stumbled on this place along the seafront. The fish and chips were the thing. Crisp batter, flaky cod, proper chips. Fresh out of the fryer. That's what you want. Price was fair for what you get.

Been coming here for years. Their pad thai is always consistent, just the right balance of sweet and savoury. That's what keeps me coming back.

A charming little spot in the city centre. The flavours are always vibrant and the prices are fair for what you get.

The staff were so warm and professional. They really made our large group feel at ease, which isn't always easy to do. A genuinely nice team.

The doggy afternoon tea is such a fun idea! It comes on a proper cake stand and the staff were lovely with our dogs.

The china cup for the tea was a lovely touch. Made the whole afternoon feel a bit more special while catching up with a friend. The sandwich was simple but exactly right. A nice, quiet spot for a proper chat.

Food's always spot on here. The staff are really friendly too, which makes it a nice place to just sit and relax. It's clean and feels welcoming.

Authentic taste, not your average takeaway. Went for the all-you-can-eat, loads of choice. Service was polite, not rushed. Solid.

French toast was soft, crepe was fine. Good for a quick business breakfast near the office. Service was efficient, got the bill quickly. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

Booking was straightforward over the phone. They keep the sessions spaced out, so it never feels too packed. Nice for the cats.

Full English breakfast spot, the locally sourced sausages were spot on. The hash browns had a nice crisp to them. Portions are huge, you won't leave hungry. They have a decent selection of craft beers too, which was a nice surprise for a morning visit.

The sharing platter was perfect for our group of four. We got five different tapas and some sides, so everyone could try a bit of everything. It looked so good we had to take a picture first! Made for a really fun, chatty dinner.

A real find for a quick lunch. The coronation chicken sandwich was spot on, thick-cut bread made all the difference. The fresh fruit salad on the side was a lovely touch. Just a nice, simple place.

Been coming here for years. The saag paneer is spot on, and the veg malayan is a solid choice if you don't eat meat. Food's always ready fast, which is handy when you're in a rush.

The staff were so nice about adjusting spice levels for our group. Really helpful when you're with friends who can't handle the heat!

Been coming here for years for the fish and chips. The batter is reliably crisp, fish is fresh. My one note is the house white wine they suggest for pairing is a bit too sweet for my taste, but the beer works just fine.

The hot chocolate was rich and not too sweet, perfect for a chilly afternoon. The Biscoff muffin was warm, with a lovely crumble topping. Staff were friendly, it’s a nice spot to pause for a bit.

Had a quiet dinner here last night. The food was reliable, nothing flashy but well-executed. Service was smooth and unobtrusive. It's the kind of place you go for a relaxed, no-fuss meal. The atmosphere is calm, perfect for a proper catch-up.

Came across this little cafe and gave it a go. Really liked the downstairs area, felt proper cozy. Staff were sound. Coffee's always good here, no complaints on that front. A solid spot.

Came for a casual dinner, portions are generous. The vegan burger was a nice surprise, actually quite flavourful. I had a decent local IPA with it, the hoppy bitterness cut through nicely. Good spot for a relaxed meal.

The food was a nice surprise, and we didn't have to wait for a table even on a busy night. Perfect for a last-minute catch-up!

Dog-friendly inside and out, which is handy. The cakes to go were a nice touch.

Really appreciated the little touches here. Ordered a peppermint tea and it arrived with a timer for the steeping. They even came by to offer a hot water top-up without me asking. Nice, attentive service.

Perfect spot to bring your pup! The staff gave my dog a treat and were so nice. Great for meeting up with friends who have dogs too.

The carvery is a solid choice for a Sunday roast. You get a good amount of food for the price, and the quality is decent. It's a nice, straightforward spot for a big plate.
