Decent vegan options here. The avocado on sourdough was fine, and they had a couple of vegan cakes. Everything looked nice on the plate. Good that they allow dogs, though the falafel bun was a bit dry.

The staff really know their stuff. Asked about a couple of dishes and got a clear, helpful rundown without any pressure. Felt looked after but never hovered over. That’s a nice balance to find.

Booked the Sunday roast. The roast beef was generous, and I really appreciated how fresh the seasonal vegetables tasted. Gravy was tasty too. A solid choice for a comforting meal.

Found this spot for breakfast with friends. The vegan pancakes were so good we ordered a second round! Service was quick and friendly, perfect for a relaxed catch-up.

Been coming here for years. Their fry-up is always spot on, especially the BBQ beans and sausages.

Loved the Worthingtons here, and they had Abbot and Doom Bar too. The scampi was tasty. It's just a really solid, unpretentious pub. Everything's affordable, which is a nice change these days.

Great spot for a casual catch-up! The place is massive, so we always manage to snag a table for our group. The best part? A pint is way cheaper than anywhere else around here. Perfect for when you just want a long chat without worrying about the bill. The view of the river is a nice bonus on a sunny day.

Been coming here for years, and the carvery is always spot on. The roast potatoes are crispy, the meat's never dry. It's just a solid, dependable meal every time. The gravy could be a bit thicker, but that's a minor thing.

Been coming here for years, and the outdoor tables by the water are the main reason. Just a chilled spot to sit with a pint and watch the river traffic. Always bring the dog, he loves it.

Chicken wings and massaman curry are my usuals for a quick lunch. Food is always solid and ready fast. Perfect for a takeaway bite when you're in a rush.

Decent portions for the price. The free Joyland ticket with every £15 spent is a nice touch for families.

Been coming here for years, and their vegan pastries are a real standout. The chocolate croissant was flaky and rich, not dry like some places. Always a good selection.

Lovely modern space with that industrial vibe. The sausage rolls are excellent, coffee's tasty too. Just a really nice spot to sit for a bit.

The small menu is a nice touch, makes deciding easy. Food was great, wine too. Service was spot on. Book ahead though, it's popular for a reason.

Grabbed a window seat, they were cool with my dog. I tweaked the order a bit and they sorted it, no fuss. Just a relaxed spot for a quick bite.

Staff were lovely, made us feel welcome. It's a dog-friendly spot which is nice. The coffee was good, but my flat white arrived a bit cooler than I'd like. Still, a pleasant place for a relaxed morning.

Lovely little spot. The ham ploughman's was huge, practically spilling off the plate! Fresh ingredients and the prices are spot on. Just the kind of simple, honest food you want.

The plant-based burger was tasty, and the onion rings were homemade! The staff were really helpful with my friend's dietary needs.

Really enjoyed the steak pie here. The pastry was flaky and the filling tasted of fresh, good-quality beef. Not too heavy either, which I appreciate. A solid, comforting choice. The price point is very fair for what you get.

The gelato is pretty good, especially the black forest gateau flavour. Made fresh on site.
