The steak frites is the only thing I ever order here. The steak is always cooked exactly as you ask, and the fries are crispy, salty, and perfect. They give you a huge portion for the price. That’s really all I need to know about a place.

The focaccia was so good - warm, fluffy, and that olive oil dip was everything. 😋 The Psycho Killer cocktail was a fun surprise, really balanced. The bartender was cool and knew his stuff. It does fill up fast though, had to wait a bit for our table.

The wok station was a fun spot for our group dinner. The chef was really friendly and chatted with us while cooking!

This was not the first time we dined in Le Cloître. It is a very nice restaurant, inside as well as on the beautiful terras. The food is excellent and nicely served. The personnel is very friendly and has eyes for details. We will come again (as we did in the past!).

Brilliant restaurant! Fantastic food, great service and good value for money! They permit dogs which was great. Would highly recommend to anyone able to get there.

First time here, didn't know what to expect. The welcome felt genuinely nice, not just a routine. Had the pasta special, solid portion for the price. Simple but good.

The staff was so welcoming, which really set a nice tone. I appreciated that the menu clearly marked vegetarian options and the ingredients felt very fresh. The salad was crisp and the dressing light.

Stumbled in for lunch, the crêpes were spot on. Buckwheat one with ham and cheese was just right, not too heavy. Cider was a nice touch, dry and crisp. Service was friendly but a bit slow, maybe because it was busy.

New owners have really turned this place around. The lamb shank was fall-off-the-bone tender, with this incredible rosemary gravy. So cozy on a chilly evening.

The set menu is a good deal for what you get. We had the beef and the chocolate cake, both were really nice. It was a relaxed family dinner, nothing fancy but everything was done right.

Service was quick and friendly. Got my sandwich and coffee in under 5 minutes. Perfect for a fast lunch break.

Great spot for a quick lunch. The food is solid, and the view is amazing. Service felt a bit rushed and impersonal, but for a fast bite in a beautiful location, it works. Got me in and out in under 30 minutes.

Great spot for a quick lunch in Macon. The appetizer was delicious, came out super fast. Owner is friendly and helpful. Perfect for a quick bite.

The Breton cider was the star for me. So crisp and refreshing, we ended up buying a bottle to take home. It's the kind of drink that makes a meal.

The boeuf bourguignon here is solid. The sauce is rich and deep, really coats the beef well. Could use a touch more seasoning for my taste, but the meat itself was tender and fell apart nicely. That's the main thing.

Been coming here for years, and the vibe is still so cozy. It's the kind of place where you can just hang with friends for hours. The owner always remembers regulars, which is a nice touch. Perfect for a casual catch-up.

The pizza here is huge, and it's actually good. They leave a bottle of chili oil on the table, which is smart. I ended up drizzling it on everything. Crust held up well, even with the extra oil. Solid spot for a casual meal.

The fish was cooked just right, really enjoyed it. The place has a nice, relaxed vibe with comfortable seating and warm lighting. Good spot for a casual meal.

Service was friendly and efficient, even for our large walk-in group. Tables are nicely spaced.

The parsley ham was so fresh and tender, a real highlight. I also tried the floating island dessert, which was light and not overly sweet. The owner was very welcoming, and the atmosphere felt pleasant.

The apple and blackcurrant tart was the perfect sweet note to end our girls' night!

Been coming here for years. The lunch set menu is consistently solid, and the wine pairing just works.

Staff was so warm and friendly. They really made us feel welcome. Service was quick, which was perfect since we were in a bit of a rush. Just a nice, cozy little spot.

The dining room is so spacious and airy, really makes you feel relaxed.

Came with a group, including our kid. The trout starter and main were both good, the quinoa had a nice crisp. My partner’s foie gras was the highlight. They handled our table well, even when it got busy. My daughter’s portion was huge, she barely made a dent in it!

The welcome was genuinely warm, and the service felt attentive without being overbearing. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and handled with care. Definitely book ahead—it fills up fast.

The owner is so sweet, she even remembered my friend's name from our last visit! That kind of personal touch makes it feel like our little spot. The staff is genuinely friendly, not just polite. It's perfect for catching up with the girls.
