Got the shrimp and grits and the chicken & waffles. The food was really good, but service was a little slow.

The chips and queso here are my go-to. You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients. A solid airport find.

Cozy spot with a nice vibe, perfect for a casual hangout. The music was good, not too loud. We tried the margherita pizza and the arancini. The pizza crust was spot on, crispy and chewy. The arancini filling was a bit underseasoned for my taste, but still enjoyable.

The patio is a great spot to bring your dog. Staff was friendly, and it’s just a really chill place to hang out with a drink.

Brett and the team were very accommodating. Janay in particular was efficient and kept things moving smoothly during our business lunch. Service was prompt without being rushed.

The Americano here is solid. Strong, clean taste, no bitterness. Espresso had a nice crema. Good for a morning pick-me-up.

The food at Fred & Stilla is exceptional, with a diverse menu that beautifully represents various cultures. The root salad and perogies were standout appetizers, making it a must-visit in Washington DC.

The prices are definitely up there, but the portions are huge and everything tasted so fresh. You get what you pay for in this neighborhood.

The churro pancakes were so good, and the iced latte was just right. I really appreciate having the outdoor seating option on a nice day. It makes for such a relaxed and comfortable breakfast.

The margarita was the star of the show. Perfect balance of tart and smooth, with a great salt rim. The staff was on point—attentive but not hovering. The space is gorgeous, though the music was a bit loud for conversation.

A bit tricky to find the entrance through the bakery, but the cozy atmosphere inside makes it feel like a nice little hideaway.

Love how bright and clean it feels inside. It's right by the hotels, so super convenient. Just has that nice, warm neighborhood vibe.

This bakery is a godsend for gluten-free needs. I visited every day of my trip for their chocolate chip cookies. The staff is so patient and never makes you feel rushed, which I really appreciate. It's just a very comfortable place to grab a treat.

The tofu was a solid protein choice, paired well with a crisp white wine.

Been coming here for years. The natural light and outdoor seating are always just right for getting some work done.

The dark chocolate and salted caramel gelato is incredibly smooth. Reminds me of the stuff I had in Italy.

The dessert menu here is a real treat. I tried the chocolate lava cake this time and it was just right - warm and gooey inside without being too sweet. Definitely coming back to work my way through the rest!

Quick service on a Tuesday lunch! The staff actually gave me some solid sauce recommendations when I was staring at the menu. Went with their spicy gochujang suggestion and it totally worked.

Their avocado toast is on another level. The bread is this thick, buttery slice, and the avocado was perfectly ripe and creamy. Topped with fresh tomatoes. Honestly, I'd come back just for that.

JoJo was so sweet, really made the evening. I keep coming back here for the vegan options in DC. The jackfruit tacos tonight were solid, though the tortillas could've been a bit warmer. Still, a reliable spot for plant-based eats.

These cookies are massive! One is almost a full meal, so filling. Yeah, they're a bit on the pricey side, but for the size and quality, it feels about right.

This place is my go-to for a solid German beer in DC. They always have a few Märzen options on tap, which I appreciate. The currywurst is good, but the bratwurst could use a bit more snap to the casing. Still, it hits the spot.

The atmosphere is lovely, especially the garden seating. I enjoyed the biscuits with apple butter and the cast iron chocolate chip cookie, both were delicious!

The manager was super attentive even during the rush. They fixed a small order hiccup for our table right away.

The apple fritter was huge and perfectly made. The donuts are moist yet fluffy, which is hard to get right.

Mohammad was so kind when my nephew's smoothie wasn't quite right. He fixed it right away, and you could tell the fruit was really fresh.

First time trying Ethiopian food. The server BK was super helpful with recommendations. Food came out fast, and it was really good!
