Came here on a whim and honestly left pretty full. The food was tasty and the bill didn&rsquo;t hurt, which is always a plus. Service was friendly too, nothing to complain about. Maybe not the most mind-blowing meal ever, but for the price, it&rsquo;s a solid pick. I&rsquo;d go back if I&rsquo;m in the area again.

Carbonade was proper&mdash;beef fell apart, sauce had that deep beer sweetness. Mussels were fresh, cooked just right. Even the fries surprised me, crispy and not oily at all. Place was busy but we got a table quick. Solid traditional Belgian cooking, no complaints from my side.

The Meli Mely is an excellent, family run restaurant. It has a good menu and each meal is tasty and terrific value for money!

Stumbled into this place looking for a quick pint and ended up staying way longer than planned. The beer list is solid, lots of local stuff on tap. Interior is full of random antiques, feels like drinking in someone&#39;s eccentric grandpa&#39;s attic. Cozy in a weird way. Only downside, it got pretty crowded later and hard to find a seat.
