Steak and eggs for brunch hit the spot. The steak was cooked just right, seasoned well. It&rsquo;s a simple dish, but they nailed it. Portion felt a bit on the smaller side for the price, though.

Live music on weekends is a nice touch. It adds to the ambience without being too loud for conversation. Good for a relaxed business dinner.

The bar has a great selection of beers, some really nice European ones. I had the pork scratchings with mine &ndash; a perfect little snack. The stools at the bar are quite high though, not the most comfortable for a longer sit.

A decent fish and chips spot, a bit of a find in Headingley. The fish is fried fresh, so you do wait a few minutes. Batter was crisp, not too heavy, and the fish itself was nicely flaky. Pretty good for the price.
