The steak sandwich was a solid pick—meat had good flavor and the potatoes came out crispy. Service was straightforward, no fuss, which I appreciated. Only thing is the place got a bit noisy later on, but for a quick lunch it worked fine. I'd sit near the window next time, seemed quieter there.

The terrace on the first floor is really nice, I felt comfortable just sitting there. Food was good, dessert too. Service was quick and the staff were friendly. A pleasant place to unwind for a bit.

Tried the tasting menu and honestly it was the right call. Every dish came out at a good pace, nothing felt rushed. Staff kept checking in without being annoying. Food was solid across the board, though nothing really blew my mind. Still, a nice spot for a relaxed dinner.

The lunch menu is a solid deal—soup, veal or cod, dessert and coffee included. Place gets packed fast and the staff seemed a bit stretched, but the vibe was cozy enough to stay comfortable.

Been coming here for a while now and the octopus rice keeps me coming back. That tomato broth is rich, octopus is always tender. Got the fried fillet on top too, nice touch. Portion's big, we shared it between two and still had leftovers. Consistent every time, that's what I appreciate.

An excellent restaurant with an iconic Portuguese menu and extensive and prodigious wine cellar that will make you mouthwatering. The service is exceptional and you will genuinely feel welcomed and looked after. The top Portuguese cuisine allied to the impeccable service and stunning views over the city and Douro river, will make your experience unforgettable. Well done to Chef João Vieira and his Team.

What delicious food and warm gracious service! We loved everything we ate the Spanish eggs over potatoes and mushrooms were to die for and the fried cod was DELICIOUS! I saw other tables order the chorizo that you toast over fire at your table and I was so envious and wished I had ordered that too! It looked amazing!

A quit and comfortable place. Some portions were a bit small for the price (E.g.: bass fish filet) but all in all, a lovely restaurant.

The food was exceptional and it was impossible to choose a favorite dish. The wine pairings were perfect and the staff was lovely. What a gem!

Excellent staff who tolerated my feeble attempts to order in Portuguese. (I sound Spanish, apparently). And more importantly, the food was fresh, well-plated and reasonable. Great place in a beautiful neighborhood. MM

Excellent Japanese food executed brilliantly that is largely well balanced. Very good wine and sake wine pairing to go along. Highly recommend!

We’ve been coming here for years when we’re in Porto and it’s still good. Staff actually remember you, which is rare. Ivetsy and Rafa were lovely. Just wish it wasn’t so packed by the river.

The feijoada was packed with shrimp, mussels, and crab—super hearty and easily enough for two. Price felt fair for the portion. Would come back with friends for sure 😊

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Waiter pointed me to the grilled fish and it was spot on. Food came out fast, which I appreciated since I was short on time. Place has that local family vibe, nothing fancy. Solid spot if you need a decent meal without the wait.

Been coming here for a while now. The pataniscas de bacalhau with tomato rice is still solid—came out in under 10 minutes again. Waitress was polite, no complaints. Just a good spot for a quick meal when you're in the center and don't want to think too hard about it.

Tried the seafood rice — had a nice spicy kick to it. Place is pretty small, cozy vibe though. Staff kept checking if we needed anything, which was nice. Homemade desserts were a good way to end the meal. Only thing is the tables are a bit close together, but it didn't bother me much.

I had the Diavola pizza, and it was simply magnificent! The flavors were incredible, making it a must-try for pizza lovers.

This restaurant offers a fantastic tropical platter that is both delicious and generously portioned, making it a great value for the price!

Stumbled in here after a late flight, starving. Got the clams and octopus rice. The octopus was properly tender, not rubbery like you see sometimes. Rice had good flavor, soaked up all the seafood juice. Portions were fair for what we paid. Place was pretty quiet that night, service kept it simple. Solid meal if you're in the area and don't want to overthink it.

Veal for two was honestly enough for three or four people. We barely made a dent. House wine did the job too. Solid spot if you want proper Portuguese food without fuss. Nothing fancy but you leave full and happy.

Nice little restaurant, we got the wrong order 2 times but the waitress was very friendly and resolved it very quickly

Stopped here for a quick lunch and grabbed the seafood rice. Portion was solid, flavor was on point. View of the river is a nice bonus while you eat. Service was fast enough for my break. Bill came out a bit higher than I expected for the area, but the food made up for it. Good spot if you're in a hurry and want something decent.

The wall covered in foreign banknotes is such a cool touch. Sangria went down easy with the tapas. Place had a good buzz to it.

The grilled fish was fresh, well-seasoned. Saw regulars getting the same dish cheaper as a daily special though. Slightly annoying but the fish itself was solid.

Tried the bacalhau com natas from their Too Good To Go bag — super tasty even if it arrived lukewarm 😅

The lunch special was a good call. Portion was generous, and the vegetables still had some crunch. Not fancy, but the ingredients tasted fresh. I liked that they didn't drown everything in oil. Maybe a little more salt on the beans, but honestly fine. I'd come back for the grilled fish plate.

Solid wine list, mostly local labels. Croquettes and cheese board were the standouts. Service stayed attentive even as the place filled up. Good spot for a low-key evening.

This restaurant offers a truly authentic Portuguese experience with homemade dishes that are both delicious and generous in portion. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a great spot for a casual meal.

Dropped by for dinner and honestly the codfish was the highlight. Really well cooked, flaky and simple. The cheesecake after was solid too. Sat outside on the terrace, pretty quiet and chill. Service was friendly enough, nothing over the top. Just a decent meal, no complaints. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but I'd come back.
