The codfish here tastes like it was actually cooked with care, not just thrown on a grill. Simple room, nothing fancy, but the chairs were decent enough to sit through a long meal. Bring cash and be ready to wait, though.

Food was solid and didn’t break the bank, though service felt a bit scattered on a busy night. Staff seemed more into the TV than clearing plates. Still, the meal itself made up for it. A decent glass of red helped too.

Came here with a couple of friends on a Saturday night and it was packed, but in a good way. We shared the grilled catch of the day and honestly it was super fresh, no complaints. Prices are okay for being right by the coast. Just be ready to wait a bit for a table, but worth it for the vibe 🌊

The bread with that orange butter was the highlight for me. Mushroom risotto was solid too, really creamy. I liked the room, felt comfortable just sitting there after we finished eating. Probably the best meal I had on this trip, honestly. Just wish the tables were a bit further apart, got a little cramped when it filled up.

Stopped by this place in Maia last week. The outdoor seating caught my eye, and the decor inside is actually pretty charming. We sat outside, which was lovely. Food was decent, nothing mind-blowing, but the setting made it worth it. Service was a bit slow, but I wasn't in a rush. Would go back if I'm in the area.

Great food and service! We tried their starters and desert. All of them with very tasty and good combination of flavors: tuna, octopus salad, humus, shrims quesadilla. As it was the restaurant 5th aniversary, all the guest wee served with complementary wine.

wonderful views and food ¡¡¡ price was ok and the restaurant is very nice. Restaurant is in a castle with views of the valley.. Fodd is wonderful, Portuguese meat of excellent quality.

The restaurant is located in a great vibrant area of the city. It was our first time there, but we were instantly attracted by the vast diversity of their menu. The staff is incredibly kind, service was fast and the food was amazing. Everyone spoke english and they mentioned to also speak french (obvs Portuguese too) so it's great for a laid-back dinner after a long day of site seeing. I recommend to book in advance as it got completely full in a matter of an hour.

A true gem in Porto's seaside, this is easily on of the best sushi places in the region. Not cheap (but the take-away prices are actually quite competitive), the quality is really impressive and service is top notch.

We had a very nice moment and the waiter was very nice informing, explaining the menu as well as the wines. We might come back during our stay.

We had been there two years ago. decided to go back .food is excellent ( chicken lollipops) Waiter was very friendly and attentive. thoroughly recommend it, difficult to find but worth it

Food is good, nothing majestic but in line with the average. The real perl pf the place is the fado and the atmosphere, which is really worth.Reservation is needed.Place to be visit, for a dinner and a good evening of fado experience.

Excellent ! We had the roasted peppers with cream cheese as a starter and it was still warm, it was delicious. We ate the bacalhau à bras and ovos rotos com bacalhau, it was excellent. The amount was perfect for one person. The spritz were really good too and the server was super nice ! Don't hesitate if you want nice food and a relaxing moment !

It was such a fun experience, the service was great- our waitress really went out of her way to help us choose a wine. The food was great and zi though the prices were very reasonable

Okra offers a unique dining experience with its creative menu and excellent service. The staff is friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. A highlight of the menu is the Do Mar Pizza, featuring fresh seafood ingredients that make it a must-try for seafood lovers. The balance of flavors and the quality of the ingredients truly set it apart. If you’re looking for exceptional service combined with uncommon pizza options, Okra is definitely worth a visit

Really enjoyed everything about the restaurant. Would highly recommend. Food wonderful, service excellent and very good value for money. Will be going there again.

The owner’s quite the character—clearly passionate about what he serves. He even opened our sparkling wine with a little theatrical flair. Fun touch.

Took the staff's suggestion on the fish and it was spot on. Portion felt a bit small for the price though. Friendly service, no complaints.

The waiter was genuinely nice, even threw in a coffee on the house. Had the francesinha, pretty solid. Place is calm, easy to relax in. Good spot to get away from the tourist rush.

This was the best food we ate whilst in Porto and all whilst watching an amazing Fado show! The music is tastefully put in-between courses where possible and is of very high standard. Be warned that you get huge amounts of food. You could quite easily have the Seafood tasting menu for two and share it between four as each dish is full sized, not a tasting amount. Overall a very tasty and fun experience!

The francesinha was really good and filling, didn't cost much either. Classic little tasca with that proper local feel. Service was friendly enough.

Came here twice while we were in Porto. The prawns were the highlight for me, so garlicky and fresh. Owner was super welcoming, made the whole thing feel easy. Portuguese sausage was good too, though I wish we'd ordered more of it. Place has that laid-back local vibe you don't always find.

The francesinha was proper good—that sauce is rich and the smoky kick from the wood-fire really comes through. Just don't grab the pastries they bring out, thought they were free but they charge for them 😅

Simple home cooking, no fuss. Had the daily special, came with a view over the river. Only a couple options on the menu but it was solid. Price was fair for what you get. Quick and easy lunch spot.

The sardines here are seriously good. Grilled just right, smoky and juicy. I’m still thinking about them days later. The seafood rice was solid too, plenty of shrimp and stuff. Place was busy but we got a table quick. Wish I lived closer, honestly. Would come back just for that plate again.

The francesinha was solid—good sauce, decent fillings, bread toasted right. No-frills spot, felt authentically local. Service was quick enough for a weekday lunch.

What you have to order: prego with cheese red wine and chocolate cake then you can leave happy

Solid Portuguese spot. Service was quick and the draft beer came properly cold. Good option if you're in the area and want something simple.

Old-school spot, but the food holds up. Duck rice and whole fish were solid, bill came out cheaper than expected. Worth a stop if you're in the area.
