The team here is so nice, they remembered my name from last time! It's that kind of friendly vibe that makes it a go-to spot for catching up with friends. Just a really comfortable place to hang out.

Came in for a quick solo lunch. The lamb platter was huge for the price. I grabbed a glass of their house red to go with it – a simple, rustic pairing that hit the spot. The meat was a touch dry, but the wine helped. Solid, no-frills spot.

The beef BBQ was tender and flavorful. I was impressed by their wine list – found a nice Malbec that paired beautifully with the smoky notes. Staff was super sweet, even gave us rice on the house. A solid spot for a casual dinner.

Been coming here for years, mostly to work. The seating's always reliable, never had to fight for a table. Staff knows their drinks, they get my complicated coffee order right every single time. That consistency is why I keep coming back.

Stopped by for their iced brown butter and sage pumpkin latte. That brown butter flavor really comes through, and it's not too sweet. Got it on a busy Halloween weekend, line moved fast, maybe 15 minutes. Solid iced latte.

The staff was so nice! They pointed out the condiment station for our corn dogs, which was super helpful for our group.

First time trying their meatball sub with provolone. The sauce was really rich and the meatballs were super tender. Felt like a legit little spot. The sub was a bit messy to eat, but that's part of the charm.

Been coming here for years, and the holiday decorations are always on point. Makes it a fun spot to meet up with friends.

The espresso martini was spot on, really smooth. Old fashioned was solid too, with a nice orange peel. Their cocktail list is definitely the main draw here.

We’ve been to Otto a few times for pizza. The hot honey pineapple bacon is a solid choice. The staff is friendly. It’s a pretty good spot in Southie.

The weekly croissant special was a nice change. White chocolate and strawberry mousse, not too sweet. Got it quick for my lunch break.

Stopped in for a late lunch after the USS Constitution. Lobster roll was solid, good portion. Husband's steak and chips were cooked right. Staff was attentive even though it was quiet. Convenient spot for a straightforward meal.

Perfect spot on Newbury for a shopping break with friends. Just get there early if you want the good cakes, they go fast!

The attention to dietary restrictions at Silver Dove is commendable. They were able to accommodate my allergies without any hassle, and the food was both delicious and beautifully presented.

Been coming here for years, and the almond croissant is my go-to. They always warm it up for me. That flaky crust and the filling stays just right, not too sweet. It's the one thing I know I can count on every visit.

The ambiance here is really nice, with plenty of seating and a lively vibe. It's a great place to relax and enjoy some local brews.

No. 9 of Bars in Boston

The oysters were plump and fresh, and the tuna tartare on crispy chips was a great starter. My roasted halibut was cooked just right—tender and not dry at all. Really solid seafood spot.

The Lanzhou noodles here are solid. You can tell it's a Michelin-recommended spot from the texture and broth. Came for a quick solo lunch, and it hit the spot. Service was efficient, got my order in and out without fuss. A bit on the pricier side for noodles, but you're paying for the quality.

The guy at the counter is so nice. It's a simple, clean place and you can count on a good, quick meal.

I'm a history nerd, so this was a fun stop. Sipping the same teas from the Boston Tea Party era while looking at the ship replica? Pretty cool way to connect with the past.

A cozy spot for a cold day. The hot chocolate was pretty good, rich and not too sweet. The place gets a bit crowded in the afternoon, but it's fine for a quiet break.

Parking's fine if you get here early. Place is clean, busy dim sum vibe. Got the shrimp dumplings and pork buns. Food came out super fast, perfect for a quick lunch. 👍

The apple orchard sandwich was a real highlight. The combination of crisp apples, sharp cheddar, and that honey mustard on the toasted bread just worked. We kept mentioning it for days after. A simple thing, but they executed it really well.

Great spot to grab a quick bite alone. The ginger noodle bowl is solid.

The hibachi show was a blast, the chefs really know how to put on a performance. My seat was right at the grill, which made it super engaging. The food was decent, nothing mind-blowing, but the whole vibe was just fun.

The calamari was fresh and lightly fried, not greasy at all. I really appreciate that. The portion was generous for the price, too. It's nice to find a place that doesn't drown good ingredients in heavy batter.

Stopped by on a whim. The Dungeness crab with sticky rice was the highlight. Crab was fresh, rice soaked up all the sauce. The soft shell crab was crispy too. A solid spot for crab.

Proper Guinness pour here, just like you’d find in Dublin. 🍺 The bar staff really know their stuff.

Came for Valentine's Day. The miso salmon on the specials menu was the star for me – cooked just right, flaky and not dry at all. Really enjoyed that one. The cocktails were a nice touch too.

Solid spot in Assembly Row. Plenty of indoor/outdoor seating, which is key for a quick stop. Menu has a good range of ice cream and other options. Got the pistachio scoop—flavor was accurate, texture was smooth. A bit pricey for the size, but convenient when you're in the area.
