The chips were spot on. Hot, crispy, not greasy at all. Sometimes it's the simple things done right that make a difference. Portion was decent too.

Lovely spot for a meal with our pup. The steak was cooked just right, and I really appreciated how fresh the side salad tasted. The greens were crisp and the tomatoes were ripe. A nice, simple touch that made the meal feel wholesome.

Small menu that changes. Had the lamb and the pasta. Flavours were spot on. Presentation was really nice too. Keeps you coming back.

Stumbled upon this place in town centre. Portuguese home cooking, feels like someone's kitchen. The homemade chips are the star, crispy and salty. Rustic decor, a bit worn but it's part of the vibe.

John, Amy, and Kinga were all fantastic. They remembered I was into wine and suggested a glass that paired perfectly with my steak. That kind of attention is what keeps me coming back.

The menu has some nice options beyond the usual fish and chips. I tried their Mediterranean salad, and the ingredients were really fresh. The feta cheese and olives tasted good, and the greens were crisp. It's a solid choice if you're looking for something lighter.

Vintage teacups, seaside view. Cheese toastie was spot on. Bacon sandwich hit the right notes too. Good for a quick bite by the water.

Been coming here for years, and the Sunday set menu is still a solid choice. It's the kind of reliable quality that keeps me coming back. Just a heads up for parents, they don't have a baby changing station.

The combo easily fed four of us. Food was nice, but the cake had that fridge-chill to it. Their house red was a decent match though.

The staff were so kind when they were out of the quinoa salad. They offered a lovely lentil dish instead and gave me a larger portion. Really appreciated that.

Service is much quicker now, and the place feels cleaner. The new team is definitely making a difference.

Had our wedding party here and the team was brilliant. Natalie in particular was on top of everything, from the little details to the big moments. They really made the day run smoothly.

Stumbled upon it driving by. The food was solid, good quality for the price. But what really stuck with me was the space itself – the high ceilings and those big windows let in so much light, felt really open and relaxed.

The Sunday roast is my go-to for catching up with friends. The portions are huge and you get a bit of everything. Great for sharing!

The pasty and gravy were tasty, but I really liked the clean, bright space. Feels like a proper independent spot.

The 40oz tomahawk was the star here - cooked just right. Staff were really friendly too.

A decent spot for a drink. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was quite relaxed. It's nice that they allow dogs, though the garden area could do with a bit of a tidy.

Been coming here for years. Their wine list is solid, and the staff knows how to pair a glass with your main. That's what keeps me coming back. The food's always on point, too.

The Korean chicken wings were so good! Perfectly crispy with a sticky, spicy glaze. Definitely ordering them again.

Loved the upstairs space. Those big bay windows let in the most beautiful light during lunch. Felt so peaceful just sitting there. The bill for five of us, with a few drinks, was surprisingly gentle.

The food here has that lovely, homemade feel to it. We grabbed a bottle of their olive oil on the way out – perfect for when my friends come over for dinner.
