TheForkUserQuaint restaurant in a quiet area. Good service and small but good menu. We loved everything about our meal and would recommend it.
TheForkUserSmart restaurant on popular town centre square. The service was excellent as was the refined choice of dishes. Recommend!
TheForkUserAn excellent creperie in the heart of old town Angers that serves traditional galettes (savoury pancakes made with buckwheat flour) as well as creative recipes and gorgeous sweet crepes. Friendly service with menus in French or English and good beverages to accompany the food. Tasty burgers an alternative. We will be back next time for sure.
TheForkUserVery nice and with tasty indian food place. We liked everything we ordered and for sure we will be back.
TheForkUserThere was four of us. 2 were happy with their meal, 2 were a little disappointed. My wife's food was cold and had to be returned. The menu was a little limited and certain dishes were not available. Overall it was fine.
TheForkUserA pleasant lunch on a sunny day where we enjoyed the terrace. The waitress was very helpful moving us to a better table when our neighbours started to fill the air with their cigarette smoke. The dishes were appetizing and well priced. I think we would never have chosen a museum restaurant whilst passing, but the positive Fork reviews brought us to a place we would certainly return to !
_TI***1fA wonderful place for a special occasion! The quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff made our birthday celebration memorable. We can't wait to return!
TheForkUserWe went to this restaurant for a family meal out whilst staying in the area. The whole experience was excellent. The venue and Terrace with view over the city and Chateau were excellent. The food was very good value, my wife and I had one of their set menus. The only thing that could be improved was the kids menu as there was not as much choice. 2 dishes (steak or fish) but both were cooked well and tasty. Overall we had the best and most special meal of our holiday here. Highly recommended.
_TI***gzThe Orangerie at Château de l'Épinay offers a magnificent setting, perfect for special occasions. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, making our anniversary celebration truly memorable.
TheForkUserA really lovely restaurant-beautifully presented food-lovely menu-fantastic service -fabulous surroundings-amazing views over the river Loire-a totally super lunch and several hours experiencing this great restaurant-highly recommend!!
TheForkUserHad a superb meal here fouryears ago, so bent our trip returning from the UK to enjoy another meal. Service was superb, as was the amuse bouche and dessert. Unfortunately, given we chose the most expensive menu, 52 euros for just 3 courses, we found the starter and main somewhat disappointing. The starter was slivers of smoked duck on a bed of vegetables. At first I thought the duck was ham, and only the texture indicated it was duck. It was undoubtedly duck, but perhaps some other presentation would be wise. Main course, a large piece of beef, good quality and cooked correctly ... but it just wasn't special in any way, and at this price level, one expects to be impressed. Coffee; a variety of choices, and served with lovely petit fours.
TheForkUserLovely ambience and great service - we visited for lunch in the middle of a winter week, so the worst time possible… food was lovely though quite rich. A good find in the middle of Charentes.
TheForkUserIf I needed an extra reason to go to Angers, this restaurant would be it. Food is extraordinary but not intimidating, service is as friendly as efficient, and the owner is super friendly, sweet and competent. It was our second time and definitely not the last. A precious gem. Many thanks for the beautiful gastronomic evening.
TheForkUserWe were on our way from Chino to St. Michel. We found the restaurant through the Michelin Guide and decided to stay at the hotel for the night so we can have a dinner at the restaurant. Everything turned out perfect. One of the best meals during our 10 day trip in France.
TheForkUserAfter a very slow start, 35 mins to take our drink and food order things improved. Perhaps the restaurant was busy and the Covid 19 limitations were making life difficult for the staff, however no one tried to communicate any reason for delays to us, no apologies. Had to walk up to the bar to ask for our order to be taken. Food and drink when it finally arrived was of a good quality.
TheForkUserThe only restaurant to be at on new year's eve. Thanks for the great atmosphere, delicious food and wine recommendations.
