TheForkUserWe attended tonight and entered the main room which had a live performance. But we were asked if we’d like to eat somewhere quieter and they asked if we’d like to eat in the bar area near the tab section. We were more than happy to do that as we had just flown in from Melbourne. I had the rump steak, chips, salad with the Diane sauce and Neil who had accompanied me had the senior chicken schnitzel meal with the chips and salad also.I added some aioli to go with my chips along with 2 pints of lemon lime bitters for us both.The food was most excellent and I’m thankful when I left o forgot my green carry bag and they kept it behind the bar for me for safe keeping. Thank you kindly for that also, as that meant a lot to me.All and all great food, service and atmosphere and it’s the 3rd time we’ve eaten here as we also own an apartment that we rent out in Brisbane and we’re looking to move this way from Ballarat Victoria to be closer to a country vibe that’s not too far away from the city.Definitely the best tavern in the area, so much so we have a pub down the road from where we are staying in Petrie and its food and atmosphere doesn’t compare to your awesome establishment !! Thank you and compliments to the staff and chef.

TheForkUserAbsolutely wonderful place. The staff were so nice and helpful. My dad uses a mobility scooter which was not a problem at all. Wasn’t noisy so everyone could have a lovely discussion at their tables. Food was delicious. What else can I say. Come and check it out for yourself!

Our food was served in a reasonable time frame and was delicious and a generous portion size. Our drinks were served a short time before the meal was served. Would recommend North Lakes Tavern to anyone looking for a good value meal!

TheForkUserThe Barn is great. It's one of the few family restaurants around today that offer true value for money. The quality of the food is great, everything is delicious, and the service is friendly. And best of all, it's offered at a very fair price. My husband and I and the kids (some of whom are quite fussy!) all absolutely love it. Highly recommended.
