Been coming here for years. The staff always makes you feel welcome, even when they&#39;re slammed. Walked in on a busy Friday, still got a smile and a quick table. That&#39;s why I keep coming back.

The Wolf burger with pulled duck is a solid choice. Patty was juicy, duck portion generous and flavourful. Sweet potato fries and slaw were good too. A bit pricey for a burger, but you get what you pay for.

Larisa, our server, was so thoughtful. She double-checked with the kitchen about my peanut allergy and explained their procedures clearly. It felt very safe. The kitchen was careful, and my meal came out with a separate note confirming it was allergen-free. That attention to detail meant a lot.

The seafood was top-notch, especially the grilled sea bass. Service was efficient, staff were attentive without hovering. The view over the estuary is a real plus. A bit on the pricey side, but you&#39;re paying for the location and quality.

Came for a casual pint, ended up staying for the view. Sat on the pontoon with a cold one, just watching the boats. The crab pots were busy, looked fun. Bit windy though.

The sandwich wasn&#39;t quite right, but honestly, the staff were lovely about it. So apologetic, and they even brought us some ice cream on the house. Made our little catch-up feel really taken care of.

Love that they have a separate conservatory for dogs. My pup and I enjoyed the view together.

The crab baguette was incredibly fresh, packed with generous, high-quality crab meat. A lovely, simple lunch. The cake was nice, but the baguette was the star.

The cod bites are decent for sharing, and the house lager was a surprisingly good match. Quick, easy meal.

The steak and kidney pasty was solid. Big chunks of meat, felt like a proper homemade one. Just what I needed on a damp afternoon.

A proper cosy pub, this. The owner&#39;s a friendly chap - he was happy for us to bring in pasties from the bakery down the road. Sat outside with a pint and a pasty, just what you need.

The Mother&#39;s Day carvery was a nice touch, and the free Prosecco was appreciated. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely old pub, proper Devon feel. Had the Sunday roast, beef was spot on. The real star was their house red, a surprisingly good match with the rich gravy. Staff are genuinely friendly, makes you feel like a local. A bit of a wait for the food, but worth it for that kind of atmosphere.

A very clean place, which is always nice to see. Had a decent coffee with my dessert. The selection of beans was pretty good.

Visited the Salumi restaurant on Sunday the 30th. To celebrate two major events of that date. Firstly my 73rd birthday and my  sons 11th Wedding Anniversary. The restaurant from the outside looks deceptive regarding its size. Though once inside the welcoming atmosphere and decor were totally delightful. The seating areas were spacious and the seats were very comfortable chairs. All the staff were friendly, polite, respectful and helpful and a credit to their profession. There were good varied choices on the menu. From which I chose the Sunday roast Turkey and Honey with all the trimmings and was totally delicious, and I enjoyed the brilliantly cooked food a lot. The best I have ever tasted in any restaurant.It was seriously that good. I was  very impressed when the ordered food was delivered to our table, and the waiter that served us described every food item being served per plate per individual. NEVER had that done before, and it made one feel special somehow, but nice. It was a really nice additional touch to a perfect meal. The portions were generously large and well presented. The prices were more than reasonable and all 8 of us were well catered. Nothing was too much trouble for the brilliant staff at the Salumi. We all enjoyed our meals. I can&#39;t praise this restaurant or it&#39;s staff high enough. I highly recommend this restaurant ladies and Gents. Well worth a visit. The best was at the end. As being the birthday boy, I was given a FREEBI dish of sorbet ice cream and chocolate cake slice. My wife and I will definately be paying the Salumi restaurant another visit for sure.

The staff really knew their stuff, especially at the bar. I asked for something not too sweet, and their suggestion was spot-on. Felt looked after without being hovered over. 👍

Fish and chips were solid, good portion. The bacon chop was filling, a decent option for a quick business lunch. Service was efficient, got the bill promptly.

The food was pretty good and the portions are decent. I also appreciate the plastic-free packaging.

The takeaway salad was so fresh, perfect for a quick bite. Really appreciated the crisp greens.

Popped in for a midweek lunch. The burger was spot on, really juicy. My wife&#39;s vegan curry pasty had lovely, flaky pastry. Portions were generous for the price.
