Helpful doormen with the steps. The place has a great buzz, really well set out. But the pint... wow. Exceptionally good, poured to perfection. That alone made the visit.

Ordered through the app, very efficient. Drinks arrived in under 5 minutes. The system works well for a quick business lunch. Food was decent, though the burger was a bit dry. Good for a no-fuss meal near the office.

Came in for a late lunch. The place was spotless, and I noticed the staff were really on top of the sanitising. Felt safe and well looked after, which was a nice touch.

Spacious beer garden, really colourful. The outdoor bar's handy. Had a couple of decent local lagers here with lunch, they hit the spot on a sunny afternoon. Good for families and dogs, though it got a bit loud later on.

Service is consistently efficient and attentive. Staff are friendly without being intrusive, which I appreciate during a business lunch. Dog-friendly policy is a plus, with water bowls readily available. Food is reliably good. Solid spot for a convenient, no-fuss meal.

Lovely Sunday lunch. The roast was just right, not too dry. They were so kind with the kids, didn’t rush us at all. Felt relaxed.

A cosy local pub. The staff were so friendly and attentive, even brought blankets on a chilly evening. It was a comfortable spot for a quiet pint.

Came for the shawarma wrap and a pint. The wrap was cheap and honestly pretty tasty. The ales are a good deal too. The old building itself is nice to look at, but honestly it's the prices that keep me coming back.

The mushroom risotto here is a real standout. So creamy and rich, with a deep earthy flavour from the mushrooms. Honestly, I could have just had a big bowl of that and been perfectly happy.

I had a wonderful experience at the Bristol Pear for a personal event. The venue was well-prepared, and the bar staff were incredibly helpful, ensuring everything went smoothly for our celebration.

Guray was a great server, really attentive and friendly. Food came out quickly and tasted good. The space itself is nice, but the tables are a bit close together.

Been coming here for years. It's a proper local pub, nice and relaxed. They're dog-friendly too, which is a plus. Good for a quiet pint and they've got the sports on. A solid spot.

The Sunday roast was the highlight. Generous portions, especially the Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes. For the price, it's a solid deal. Could have used a bit more gravy, but that's a minor quibble. Left feeling properly full without breaking the bank.

Had our wedding cocktail hour here. Matthew and the team sorted everything. The drinks were good, and they put our names on the board which was a nice touch. For the price, I did expect a slightly larger selection of canapés, but what we had was tasty.

Watched the rugby here. The halftime curry was the highlight. Rich, slow-cooked lamb, tender and falling apart. The sauce had a deep, warming spice, not just heat. Went perfectly with a pint.

Just popped in for a Sunday roast. The beef was spot on, and the Yorkshire pudding was massive. Really generous portions. Staff were dead friendly, made it a nice afternoon.

Nice old pub just off the main street. The garden out back is a lovely spot for a sunny afternoon pint.

The private room at the back is perfect for our book club meet-ups. Plenty of space, and the staff were so helpful setting up the projector for us. It made the whole evening really relaxed.

The service at The Swan was excellent during our visit. Despite a few hiccups with the food, the staff were friendly and attentive, which made our dining experience enjoyable.

Christmas lunch for a big group. Turkey was spot on, everything came out hot.

Love the old-world charm here. It was quiet when we visited, just perfect for a proper catch-up. Free wifi's a bonus, and they're dog-friendly too.

The steak was cooked just right, a proper medium-rare. Honestly, one of the best I've had in a long while. The wait for it wasn't bad at all.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and they let us bring our dog too! Perfect for a casual catch-up with friends.

Charlotte was so lovely and made the evening feel special. The vegan desserts were a nice surprise!

I'm a big fan of their roast. The beef was so tender, and the roast potatoes had that perfect crispy edge. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The only thing is, I wish there was a lighter side salad option to go with it.

Found this spot for a Sunday roast with mates. The roast beef was spot on, and the sides were just right. Staff were so lovely, really made us feel welcome. A bit of a wait for the food, but worth it for a chilled Sunday catch-up.

The bartender really went out of his way for us. We were struggling to get a cab after dinner, and he sorted out an Uber on his own phone. Made sure we got in it okay. That kind of service, especially after a couple of great cocktails, is what makes a place stand out.

Simulators are well maintained and the whole experience is really smooth, even when it's busy.
