A nice spot right on the square. The daily soup special was lovely and hearty. I really appreciated the comfortable booth seating – it made for such a relaxed lunch.

The owner’s smile when you walk in really sets a nice tone. Service is spot-on, never hovering but always there when you need something. Honestly, for the quality you get, the prices here are hard to beat locally.

The scones were warm and crumbly, just how I like them. Paired with a cappuccino, it was a quiet, cosy moment. The whole place has such a gentle, welcoming feel to it.

Been coming here for years, and the owner's weekend guitar sets are what keep me coming back. It's just the right volume, never intrusive, perfect for a slow coffee by the river. That relaxed, familiar vibe is hard to find elsewhere.

Dog-friendly spot, staff were lovely. The smoked salmon sandwich was fresh, soup of the day hit the spot. Their locally roasted coffee was a nice touch - went really well with the meal. Solid choice for a casual bite.

The latte with marshmallows was a nice treat. Good for a quick pick-me-up, though the portion felt a bit small for the price.

The loaded spicy chicken fries were a proper treat. Just the right amount of heat, super indulgent. Had a chai with it, which was also spot on. Solid choice for a casual bite.

The space has this lovely, warm glow in the evenings. Staff were friendly, but it does get absolutely packed on a Saturday. Had to send my friend to snag a table while I ordered at the bar.

The eggs benedict were cooked perfectly to order, which I really appreciate. A lovely, relaxed spot.

Spanish latte and mocha were solid. Big portions. The crispy bun was the star, had to get another. Noel and Max were sound.

The full English breakfast was lovely. I really appreciated the fresh ingredients, especially the tomatoes and mushrooms. The tea was a perfect complement. A very pleasant, relaxed morning.

Popped in for lunch, the place was packed. Got the chicken sandwich and it was actually really good, properly seasoned and fresh. Just a bit of a squeeze between tables when it's busy, had to shuffle sideways to get to the loo.

The coffee here is fantastic, and I love that they use fresh, locally sourced beans. A nice spot for a quick, healthy snack.
