The sampler platter is a solid choice. The steak arepa and tostones stood out. I paired it with a Malbec that cut through the richness nicely. The wine list is thoughtful, though a few more by-the-glass options would be a plus.

Newk's Q sandwich hit the spot. That slightly crunchy hoagie roll was key. Fruit was fresh, cake was a solid finish. Cashier had good recs.

The chicken yuzu ramen is fantastic. They have a nice sake selection that pairs well with the rich broth.

The chicken schnitzel was really well done. You can tell the chicken is fresh and the breading is light, not greasy at all. A solid choice for a healthier take on a classic.

Loved the indoor/outdoor seating choice! The menu has some really tasty options. Parking's a little tough though.

The Triple Dipper was solid, fresh ingredients. Brisket quesadilla was the highlight, really well done. Just had to ask for napkins a few times.

Came with a big group for a friend's thing. Amanda was super helpful getting us all sorted. The staff handled our table of 12 without any fuss, which is rare. Made the whole night easy.

The gluten-free cinnamon roll was so good! You can really taste the care they put into their GF menu.

Love the speakeasy vibe here. Came for a quick lunch and the truffle fries were huge, easily shared. Live music was a nice touch. Got my food fast.

Andrew was a great server, really knew the menu and made us feel welcome. The food was spot on. Perfect spot to catch up with friends over a good meal.

Loved the open kitchen concept, you can watch them cook from your table. The staff was really on point, friendly without hovering. I had a nice glass of red that paired well with the steak. A solid spot.

Terry’s a good server, easy to chat with and kept an eye on our table. The place is pretty dark though, almost too dark to read the menu. Kinda fits the vibe, I guess.

Been coming here for years. The shrimp fajitas are always my go-to. They're consistently hot when they hit the table, and the seasoning is just right every single time. That's what keeps me coming back.

The short rib hash for breakfast is my go-to. Comes out fast, which I need. Good mix of sweet potato and avocado, egg is always runny. Gets the job done.

The meatballs were really good, juicy and full of flavor. The rest of the food was just fine, nothing special. But the decor... those soft, warm lights and the dark wood everywhere made the whole place feel so cozy.

Kay was our server and she was on top of everything. Noticed my water glass was low before I did. That kind of attention is nice, makes you feel looked after.

The biscuits are incredible, best I've ever had. But for the price, I was hoping for a bigger portion. The bacon was crispy and the OJ fresh, just wish there was a bit more on the plate.

Antoinet was the best! She suggested the fried chicken with honey chili sauce and a ginger cake pie for dessert. Both were so good. The pie was light and not too sweet. She really made our girls' night out special.

The GM, Richard, really makes the place. He suggested a fantastic wine that paired perfectly with our meal. We keep coming back.

Server was super nice and checked on us often. They even brought a free glass of champagne, which was a nice surprise. Made my quick lunch feel a bit more relaxed.

French toast with pistachios was solid. Strawberry nectar had good flavor. Breakfast service was efficient, got my order quickly. Portions felt a bit small for the price, but it did the job.

Virgil's Gullah Kitchen offers a unique dining experience with its rich Gullah cuisine. Each dish I tried was bursting with flavor, and the overall quality of the food exceeded my expectations.

My daughter's chocolate-making party was a hit. The staff kept the kids engaged, and the parents got to relax with a surprisingly decent glass of red. A unique way to spend an afternoon, though it's a bit on the pricey side for what it is.

Nicholas C. provided exceptional service during our visit. He was attentive and knowledgeable, making our dining experience truly enjoyable. The chicken and waffles were a standout dish!

Nice breakfast bowl, decent spot for people-watching.

Stopped in for a quick bite. The appetizer was fresh and came out fast, which I really appreciate. The drink took a little longer, but that's okay. A good spot for a light, healthy option.

Karen is a lovely host, really friendly. You can tell she cares about the place. The food is pretty good, home-style cooking. It’s a nice, quiet spot for a simple meal.

Nice little neighborhood spot with a pub feel. The bar selection is good, and the regulars chatting with the staff gives it a friendly vibe. My only thing is the stools at the bar are a bit high and not the most comfortable for a longer sit.
