The grilled octopus was spot on, tender and smoky. Paired it with a glass of their Sancerre, which cut through the richness nicely. Service was attentive without hovering. Sure, the bill stings a bit, but for that level of cooking, I didn't mind. Would come back for the bar seating alone.

Stopped by for the golden milk massage and honestly, that was the highlight. Place itself is calm, easy to relax right away. Only thing is I found the price a bit steep for the length of the session. Still, left feeling pretty good, so can't complain too much. Would go back if I'm nearby.

The coffee’s always solid, and they’ve got decent gluten-free options too. Plenty of seating, but it gets a bit warm when the sun hits the windows.

Came here for tapas with a couple of friends. The gambas al ajillo were good, garlicky and plenty of oil for dipping bread. Albondigas were decent too. But honestly, for the price, the portions felt a bit small. We ordered a few plates and still left a little hungry. Nice spot though, and the staff didn't rush us.

Pay-by-weight place, pretty straightforward. Lots of options from salads to hot stuff and desserts. Got busy around lunch but the line moved fast enough. Solid choice if you want something quick without the usual lunch chaos.

The food was solid—tasty and pretty authentic. But the service really dragged. We waited ages for the mains, and then even longer to flag someone down for the bill. Tables that came in after us got their food first, which was a bit annoying. A decent glass of red helped pass the time though.

Solid wine list and the terrace is perfect for a quick drink after work. Sunset views over the city are a nice touch. Service was fast enough for a short stop.

The shoyu ramen here is simple and honestly really good. Broth has that deep soy flavor without being too heavy. Service was quick, which I appreciated since I was short on time. Place was busy but I got seated right away. Just wish the noodles had a bit more chew to them. Still, solid bowl if you're nearby.

The grilled octopus was the only thing I cared about and it delivered. Tender, smoky, not rubbery at all. The lemon and olive oil did their job without drowning the flavor. Portion was decent for the price. I didn't pay much attention to the garden or the service, but the octopus alone makes me want to come back.

Decent neighborhood place. Owners are friendly without being overbearing. Food was pretty good, wine list had some nice options.

Right on the lake, outdoor tables have a proper view. Grabbed a quick lunch there on a sunny afternoon—service was fast enough for a work break. Food did the job, nothing fancy, but the setting makes it worth it. Slightly touristy pricing, though. Fine for what it is.

New Bombay is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for great value in Zurich. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service provided.

The salted croissant really stood out—flaky, buttery, just the right amount of salt. Their bread selection is solid too. It's a bit pricey for sure, but you can tell they use good ingredients. I grabbed a few things to take home and wasn't disappointed. Would stop by again if I'm in the area.

Stopped by for a gelato the other day. Hazelnut was solid, dark chocolate even better. They switch up the flavors daily, keeps it interesting. Place was busy but moved fast. Not the cheapest, but you pay for the quality. Fine if you're in the area and want something sweet.

The staff were so sweet with us—patient and happy to give tips for exploring the city. Food was fresh and portions were solid. Would come back with friends for sure 🙂

Food's solid, menu has enough variety. Owner's cool about special requests. Reliable spot.

The fondue was solid and the cabin vibe made it feel authentic. Just a heads up, it gets pretty loud inside. Good spot if you're with friends.

The pike perch was the standout — perfectly cooked, flaky, with a butter sauce that actually tasted like something. Came by boat from Luzern and walked up from Treib, which probably made me hungrier than usual. Portion was decent for the price. Busy spot though, so book ahead if you want a table.

Solid pasta, great view over Lake Lucerne. Service was fine, nothing crazy. Had the tagliatelle, decent portion. Place gets busy around 7, so come early if you want a table by the window. Pricey but you're paying for the scenery. Would go back for the view alone.

The tasting menu here is seriously good. Every plate looked almost too pretty to eat, but the flavors hit just as hard. Pisco sour was spot on too. Service stayed close enough without hovering. Only thing, the room got a bit warm by the end. Still, that cozy vibe kept me happy.

Decent beer list and the smoked food hits the spot. Portions are fair for what you pay. Taproom next door is a nice bonus.

Stopped by the one inside Zurich HB before catching my train. Small spot but they had a decent selection. Got the classic glazed — soft, not too sweet. Perfect for a quick bite, though you’re eating it standing basically. Fine if you’re in a rush. Wouldn’t go out of my way for it, but it does the job.

Cozy place, staff were really welcoming. Portions are generous too, left feeling nicely full. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, but overall a solid spot.

The pad thai was decent—fresh, not greasy, and the portion was fair for the price. I didn't leave hungry, which is honestly what matters most to me. Fried rice was solid too. Tables are a bit tight, so don't expect much privacy, but for a quick meal it's fine. Service didn't keep me waiting long.

Great find off the tourist trail. Food was fresh and the prices felt fair for what you got. Cozy inside, nice to sit and relax for a while.

The peanut curry really stood out — rich and flavorful. Would've loved a wine that matched it better, but the food carried the evening. Staff were decent too.

Solid pasta, decent prices for what you get. The mango-passionfruit sorbet was the highlight though. Bit pricey but fine for a treat.

The hamachi carpaccio was the standout — fresh, light, nicely dressed. Sushi was solid too, though nothing mind-blowing. Quiet spot, good for a chill dinner.
