The steak and ale pie was the standout. The pastry was crisp, the filling rich and meaty. Good portion for the price.

Such a cosy spot, feels like a dinner party at a friend's place! The decor is so eclectic and the welcome was really warm. Perfect for a chilled catch-up with the girls. We ended up chatting for hours.

The half crispy duck was my first time trying it. The portion was huge, and the skin had a nice crunch to it. I'd definitely order it again.

The service was so lovely and relaxed, really made the evening. Food was delicious too.

The open kitchen was cool. Watched them make the pasta fresh right there. You could tell they cared about what they were doing.

Really nice carvery. Good value for money. Helpful staff, but Disabled access not very good. Had to get staff to open a side door to let my husband in, as he could not negotiate the steps.

Friendly reception, knowledge of food good service, very helpful and happy staff, I would recommend and will return to this restaurant again and again

Was a lovely place for an evening meal/ date night. Food was gorgeous and the time between ordering and getting the food was pretty quick. Had a lush time and will 100% be going back!

Popped in for a Sunday pint. It was nice and quiet. The Fortitude from Bristol Beer Factory really hit the spot – smooth and just the right kind of bitter. A proper find for a lazy afternoon.

The chicken tikka was really good. But the portion for the price felt a bit small, especially the keema naan. It was tasty, just wish there was more of it for what I paid.

Been coming here for years. Their butter chicken is the reason I keep coming back - creamy, rich, and always consistent. It's the one dish I never get tired of.

Found it for lunch. They seated us at the bar when it was busy, which worked. The extra bread was appreciated.

Been coming here for years, and the harbour view from the window tables never gets old. That's the main reason I keep booking.

Been coming here for years. It's not cheap, but their cocktails are consistently spot on. That's what keeps me coming back. The welcome is always friendly, too.

A solid pub find on a lively street. The Sunday roast is the real deal here. Went for the meat trio – the pork belly was spot on, really tender. Portions are generous, no complaints there. A good, hearty feed for the price.

A pleasant riverside walk from the centre. The house special curries were really good. The staff were very friendly and attentive, which made the whole visit feel relaxed.

Came for the lunch deal and it really is good value. The grilled salmon was spot on, fresh and cooked just right. A solid choice for a quick, tasty bite.

Nice spot, great location. The food was decent pub grub, nothing too fancy but it hit the spot.

Lively spot, perfect for a relaxed evening with friends. The wine and small plates vibe is just right.

The Schmokie burger was spot on - messy and smoky, just how a smash burger should be. Those parmesan tots with the black garlic mayo were a real find.

The butter chicken was really good, and the lamb rara gosht too. Food arrived quickly which I always appreciate. Our server was lovely, gave some helpful suggestions without being overbearing. A comfortable, easy meal.

The sticky toffee pudding was fantastic. A glass of Pedro Ximénez sherry alongside it was the perfect match.

Popped in for a quick bite on Gloucester Road. The fish and chips were spot on, crispy batter and proper chips. Staff were really friendly, made it a nice lunch.

Came here with a group of friends and the vibe was spot on for catching up. The Virgin Colada was so good we all ordered a second round! Samosa chaat was tasty. Just the right kind of place for a relaxed evening out.

First time in, and it's a proper local pub. The beer selection is spot on – loads of local craft stuff you don't see everywhere. Had a couple pints in the garden, which gets the sun nicely. Dog was made welcome too. 👍

Charlie was our server and he was just spot on. Really noticed when we needed something without being over the top. Made the whole evening just flow nicely.

Came in for a quick lunch. The pasta was spot on, really fresh and cooked just right. That’s what stood out for me. Nice spot for a solo meal.

Lovely server, really attentive. Food came out quick. The lamb shank was spot on, fell right off the bone. Nice, relaxed vibe in here.

The Sunday roast is the reason I come here. Beef was cooked just right, still pink inside. Yorkshire puddings were crispy on the outside, soft in the middle. Gravy had a deep, rich flavour. Could eat it every week.
