The champagne afternoon tea was lovely. I really appreciated the fresh ingredients - the scones were warm, and the fruit on the pastries tasted so vibrant. Having the place mostly to ourselves made for a very peaceful afternoon.

Had a quick lunch here with a few friends. The staff, especially Anja and Lucy, were super helpful and patient. Got our food out fast, which is exactly what I needed. Made the whole thing easy.

The roast beef was spot on, so tender it just fell apart. The cauliflower cheese had a nice, creamy texture without being too heavy. They were really chill about our three dogs too, brought out a big water bowl without us even asking.

The refurbishment is a huge upgrade. Love the new layout and lighter decor, it just feels so much more open and inviting now. A much nicer spot to relax over a meal.

The fish and chips were spot on, crispy batter and all. Cameron at the bar really knows his stuff, suggested a local pale ale that cut through the richness perfectly. Made for a proper Friday night.

Lovely country pub with a great selection of food and drink. You can seat inside or outside so this is good too. It would be good if the parking area would be bigger as we struggled to find a space. I would also wish that in the bathroom would be some nice fragrance.

We brother and sister enjoyed a lovely evening nice atmosphere the meals were superb Cullum are waiter was absolutely fantastic always looking after us, making sure everything was ok for us Cullum is a lovely guy. All 3 courses were beautifully cooked and the presentation of the meals were just fantastic. Thank you all so much cannot wait to come again.

Presentation was spot on, and the flavours really delivered. The lamb shank was perfectly tender, just fell off the bone. Staff were friendly without being overbearing. A solid meal.

The staff were so thoughtful, bringing colouring books to keep the kids busy. Made a big difference for our table.

Went there for my sister-in-law&#39;s 70th Birthday, food excellent and staff were friendly and polite and catered to our every need.  She and I thoroughly enjoyed it and would definately go again.

The hotpot is best enjoyed in-house. Takeout&#39;s fine, but the broth just doesn&#39;t stay as hot and rich on the way home.
