Our Party of 8 thoroughly enjoyed Basalt Restaurant.  The food was of a very high standard and every diner was extremely happy with their choices and the menu was well priced.  The service was friendly, attentive and prompt and we would be more than happy to return to Basalt.

Been coming here for years, mostly for the location. It&#39;s just a short walk from the beach, perfect for a quiet coffee and a slice of cake after a stroll. The light meals are decent, but honestly, I keep coming back for that easy, relaxed vibe by the park.

The upstairs area is a nice spot for a quiet meal. I really appreciate that they have a dedicated space for that. It&#39;s perfect if you want to focus on your food and not the bustle downstairs.

First time trying their chorizo prawn pasta. The portion was huge, and they didn&#39;t skimp on the prawns at all. Really hit the spot.

Wraps are a bit pricey but huge portions. Good quality ingredients, feels like a proper meal without being too heavy. Perfect for a quick lunch.
