The £12 for three items is a solid deal. We shared a few plates, the crispy squid was a highlight. Nice spot for a casual catch-up, gets quite lively later on.

Chef came out to check on us, nice touch. Food was really good, atmosphere was warm. Solid spot for a quick bite.

Good wheelchair access and facilities here. Easy to get in and around. Makes a difference for a business lunch when you need a convenient, no-fuss location.

Mixed grill was spot on. Came out fast and piping hot, just what you need for a quick lunch. Flavours were all there, no complaints. Good spot for a quick bite.

The roast beef was spot on, medium-rare as requested. A solid Sunday lunch, though the service was a bit slow between courses.

Grabbed a table on a busy Saturday, no wait! The 2-4-1 cocktails with the student discount were a nice surprise. My espresso martini was actually really good, not too sweet. Lively spot, friendly bar staff.

Decent spot for students. The £5 cocktails and double mixers are a proper bargain. The vibe's a bit loud for a quiet chat, but you can't argue with the prices.

Had a work do here last week. The buffet was decent, plenty of choice and kept topped up. The team handled our group of 20 really well, everything just flowed without any fuss. Made it easy for us.

Love the vibe here, proper local pub feel. Staff are spot on, friendly without being overbearing. Had the fish and chips, batter was crisp and the chips were proper chunky. Pint of ale was well kept. Just what you want on a Friday evening.

Popped in for a weekend bite. As a coeliac, the staff were really clued up on what I could have. Went for the sausage and mash - proper comfort food, really hit the spot.

Wednesday pie night is a solid deal. The steak and ale pie was hearty, good portion for the price with a pint. Service was efficient, got me in and out for a quick business dinner.

Lunch here was solid. The burger and chips were tasty and came out looking good. Paired it with a cold beer. The portion size for the price was decent, felt like I got what I paid for.

The beer-battered fish and chips is a must-try. The portion was huge, and those homemade chips were perfect. It's a lovely, cosy spot for a casual meal.

Been coming here for years, and the magic show is still a fun little extra. The rest is solid, but that's the bit I keep coming back for.

I had a wonderful experience at the Bristol Pear for a personal event. The venue was well-prepared, and the bar staff were incredibly helpful, ensuring everything went smoothly for our celebration.

Been coming here for years, and it's still the same cozy spot. Always bring the dog, and they never mind. Just a proper, comfortable pub that gets it right.

Lovely spot for a family dinner. The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming, which really makes the place feel warm and relaxed. Just a nice, easy vibe.

Been here a few times. The beef tacos are solid, and the truffle fries are a nice touch. Good for a casual drink and a bite. It's a bit on the pricier side for what it is, though.

Eliese was so friendly and attentive, even on her trial shift. Really made the evening feel relaxed.

Solid beer list. The outdoor heaters actually work, which was a lifesaver last night. Made sitting outside bearable.

Came for a birthday. The Mexican sharer platter from Hogbroast was the highlight. Really solid flavours, and a good amount for the price. Cocktails were decent.

The restored wood interior here is gorgeous. It felt so warm and inviting, especially on a rainy evening. Just a lovely space to enjoy a meal.

Solid spot for the game. TVs in the booths are a nice touch. Good vibe when it's busy. Had a chill Sunday breakfast here too.

Stumbled in by chance. The bar staff were really attentive and kept the drinks coming with a smile.

I had a fantastic birthday celebration here! The food was amazing, and the staff, especially Zara, were welcoming and friendly. The decor is beautiful, making it a great spot for photos.

Been a few times. Always solid. The squid and cod croquettes are the move. Crispy outside, creamy inside. That's the reason to go.

Spacious and bright, with a modern feel. The atmosphere is just right—not too loud, not too quiet. A really pleasant spot to just sit with a drink and let the afternoon slip by.
