The mixed mezze platter was a solid choice for a quick lunch. Generous portions, the hummus was particularly good. Picked it up to take away, everything held up well.

The meat and potato pie was spot on. Really generous filling, proper shortcrust pastry. I'm already thinking about which one to try next time – the menu has a few interesting options.

Carbonara was spot on. Creamy, rich, and the pancetta was crispy. Exactly what I wanted. The Rustica breakfast looked good too, might try that next time. Solid little spot.

Wednesday pie night is a solid deal. The steak and ale pie was hearty, good portion for the price with a pint. Service was efficient, got me in and out for a quick business dinner.

Lunch here was solid. The burger and chips were tasty and came out looking good. Paired it with a cold beer. The portion size for the price was decent, felt like I got what I paid for.

The Mother's Day afternoon tea takeaway was spot on. Sandwiches were fresh, the sausage rolls had a nice flaky pastry, and the cakes weren't overly sweet. Everything tasted as it should.

Handy location on the outskirts, plenty of parking time. The space itself is really open and airy, with lots of natural light from the big windows. Just a nice, relaxed spot for a quick bite.

The halloumi fries were great. That drizzle on top is the real winner. Came for a quick lunch, got my order in no time. Perfect for a fast bite.

A lovely dog-friendly spot. I really appreciated how they handled my dietary request - the staff took the time to check ingredients for me. The salad was fresh and crisp. A relaxed lunch with our pup.

The coffee is genuinely good, one of the best in Derby. I'm picky, so that's a real compliment. The flat white had a lovely, smooth crema. Just a shame the cup felt a bit small for the price.

The staff are quick and efficient. The barista remembered my usual order and started making my caramel latte as soon as I walked in. It’s a nice touch. The coffee itself is decent, though a bit on the sweet side for my taste.

Lovely spot for a family dinner. The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming, which really makes the place feel warm and relaxed. Just a nice, easy vibe.

The grilled chicken shawarma was so flavorful, and I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted. A nice, healthy option.

Been coming here for years. Their hot chocolate is the real deal, rich and not too sweet. They always do that little chocolate drip on the mug rim. It's a nice touch, makes it feel a bit more special.

A real gem. The creamy chicken curry was spot on, rich and flavourful. What really stood out was the wine list – found a lovely Spanish white that cut through the richness perfectly. Staff were friendly, no complaints there. A solid dinner.

Maiya was so lovely, really made us feel welcome. The Trini curry chicken had a perfect warmth to it, not too fiery. A really comforting bowl on a grey day.

Despite some mixed reviews, I found the food to be quite good, especially the burgers. The staff were pleasant and helpful, making for a nice dining experience overall.

Missed my train and stumbled in here. Annie the barmaid was so kind, she even carried my drink to the table for me. That small act of care really lifted my spirits on a rough day.

The new cafe is much more spacious now, plenty of room inside and out. A big upgrade from the old cramped spot. Grabbed a flat white and a pastry, was nice to actually have a table to sit at.
