Great spot for a casual pint. The lager was crisp, and the fish and chips were solid – proper crispy batter, not greasy. Prices are fair for the area. My only gripe? The chips could've been a bit hotter. Still, a reliable choice.

Good spot, easy to find. The staff were really on it. I had the grilled chicken - cooked just right, and the portion was decent for the price. Better menu than I thought there'd be.

Cosy spot with the log burner going, just what we needed after a walk. The daily specials board is always tempting. Went for the fish pie special, really generous portion and the mash was spot on. A bit of a wait for the food, but it was a busy lunchtime.

The beef was lovely and tender, and the roasties were spot on. What really stood out was the wine list - found a really nice Malbec that went perfectly with the roast. Made the whole meal. A bit pricey for a carvery, but the drink selection justified it.

Service was solid, staff were on it. Erin in particular was attentive, remembered our drink orders. They had a nice little wine list, nothing crazy but a decent Malbec that went well with the steak. Efficient, no real waiting around.

Been coming here for years. They've kept the Korean fried chicken pancakes consistently good, and the portion is still huge.

First time here for breakfast. The small breakfast is only £6.95 and the portion is huge, honestly. I couldn't finish it all. A solid find for the price.

Been coming here for years, and the chicken supreme is always spot on. That creamy sauce is the reason I keep coming back.

Been coming here for years. It's the quiet that keeps me coming back - no music blaring, just good conversation. Simple as that.

Tried their fondue evening for the first time. The cheese pot was huge, way more than we could finish! Cosy spot, felt like a proper treat.

A wonderful pub restaurant. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and the staff were very sincere and helpful. It was definitely service with smiles. The food was excellent and hot! The sirloin steak was cooked as requested and is certainly recommended. The real ale was well kept and tasted superb. We will be back.

Lovely spot. The owners genuinely care, offering suggestions when the menu felt a bit overwhelming. Portions were generous, which I appreciated. Just a really nice, unpretentious meal.

Been coming here for years, and the new spot is just as good. Love how they kept the menu consistent. It does get packed though, had to lean in a bit to chat over the buzz. Still, that's the trade-off for a proper lively atmosphere.

Been coming here for years, and the consistency is what keeps me coming back. Ordered the birthday set for a big group last week, and everything came out hot and together - no small feat. Ash and the team just get it right, time after time.

Owner's super nice. Chatted with us for a bit, made us feel right at home. That kind of personal touch is rare.

Great spot near the uni and hospital. The free parking is a lifesaver around here – just had to pop my reg at the bar. Made a quick lunch stop so much easier.

Had a fantastic visit recently. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience truly enjoyable.

Portions are generous, mussels and lasagna were solid. The BYOB policy is a practical plus. Service was efficient, got the bill quickly. A straightforward spot for a reliable meal.

Busy Saturday night, but the food didn't suffer for it. My steak was cooked just right. Service was a bit slow getting drinks, but I've seen worse on a weekend.

The almond croissant is just right, not too sweet. Paired with my usual flat white, it's my go-to quiet moment. Gets a bit hectic around 10 AM, but that's when the pastries are freshest.

They squeezed our group of eight in without a reservation, which was great. The wine list had some nice, approachable options that paired well with the shared plates.

Popped in for a quick coffee and had to get the halloumi wrap. The cheese was perfectly grilled, still soft inside with those lovely crispy edges. Just the right kind of savoury bite with my latte.

Great pizza, and the wine list had some nice local options. Service was quick and friendly. The beer garden is a real plus on a sunny day.

Love the vibe here for a catch-up with mates. The jerk chicken was spot on, and the 2-4-1 cocktails were a win. Our server Beth was lovely, really added to the friendly feel. A solid spot for a relaxed evening.

The beef sandwich was spot on, really hit the spot with my latte. Just the right kind of quiet buzz for a solo coffee. A bit pricey for what it is, but that sun on the terrace made it worth it.

Love the classic pub feel here. The garlic bread was just right, and the burger had this really nice, deep flavour. Not spicy, and the crunch was perfect. One of the best around.

The staff member named Jake was really helpful with my special diet request. He took the time to explain which ingredients were in each dish and suggested a great alternative. It's nice when they pay attention to details like that.

Stumbled upon this place and the coffee was top-notch. The owner is a Q Grader, which explains the skill. Even my friends who don't usually like coffee enjoyed the Turkish coffee. Very friendly service, though the seating is a bit snug for a long chat.

The milkshakes here are the real deal. Thick, creamy, and not too sweet. The cakes are always fresh, you can tell. Prices are fair for what you get. A solid spot for a treat.
