Been coming here for years, and the team always remembers you. That friendly welcome never changes, makes it feel like your local spot. Even during the pandemic, they were on it with the precautions, which I really appreciated. Just feels reliable.

Great spot for a post-walk meal after the valley. I really appreciated the fresh, crisp salad that came with my main. The greens tasted just-picked, which is so nice to see. A lovely, light option.

Service and quality of food excellent. An experienced chef leading a team seemingly without effort. No showy display just seriously good food tasting of its ingredients and perfectly balanced.

Been coming here for years. The lunch menu's the best deal around, proper pub grub that doesn't break the bank. Had the steak pie today, solid as always.

Popped in without a reservation and they squeezed us in. The steak and ale pie was proper hearty, just what you want on a damp evening. Good pint to go with it. Menu's got plenty of choice, which is handy.

The cannoli here was spot on - crisp shell, creamy filling that wasn't too sweet. Their pastry case looks fantastic, full of things I haven't seen elsewhere. Grabbed a sfogliatella to go as well. Bit of a queue on a Saturday morning, but it moved.

A nice little spot in Aberystwyth. The service was really friendly and attentive, which made for a relaxed lunch.

A proper dog-friendly spot! They've got a whole section for your pup, and the bar even had treats ready. My dog was in heaven, made our Sunday pint so much more relaxed.

Love that they're dog-friendly! Our pup got her own little menu, which was a nice touch. Staff were really sweet with her, made us feel welcome. We'll be back with the furry one. 🐕

Popped in while passing through. Food came out quick even though it was packed. Everything was hot and exactly what we ordered.

Decent spot for a business lunch. The veggie bangers and mash had good flavour, and the vegetarian menu is varied. Service was prompt, which is key for a midweek meal.

Came here for breakfast with friends before a day out. The full Welsh breakfast was huge and kept us going for hours! 😊 Evening menu looked tempting too, might come back for dinner sometime.

Been coming here for years. Staff are always friendly and attentive, they remember your usual order. Makes a difference when you're a regular.

The vegan breakfast option was a nice surprise. The ingredients felt fresh, especially the avocado and tomatoes. Portions are generous, which is great for a healthy start to the day. The owner was friendly too.

Lovely little spot for a light lunch. The ploughman's had a really nice selection of Welsh cheeses.

The cosy little spot had a really warm, friendly vibe. Food was fresh and tasty, though the wine list felt a bit limited.

The chef took a dish from my memory and brought it back to life. Every flavour was exactly as I remembered it. That takes real skill.

The cod and haddock were incredibly fresh, which is so important to me. The batter was light and crisp, not greasy at all. The staff were lovely too. A solid choice for a simple, quality meal.

Been coming here for years, and their tempura soft shell crab never disappoints. It's always perfectly crispy, never greasy. That consistency is why I keep coming back. The mussels are great too, but honestly, I'm here for the crab.

Been coming here for years now. The team always remembers my usual order, and they’re just as friendly as the first time I visited. That’s what keeps me coming back.

The staff are so lovely and welcoming, it really puts you at ease. You can tell it's a real local favourite. My only small note is that the chairs are a bit hard for a long sit-down meal.

Been coming here for years, and it's the consistency that keeps me coming back. That house beer from their little brewery? Always spot on. Burger and chips are just reliably good, never a letdown. It's my go-to for a simple, satisfying pint and a bite.

Just tried their new Thai menu. The pork skewers with tamarind glaze were the standout for me—really tender and that sweet-sour sauce was spot on. Portions are generous, so come hungry!

Been coming here for years, and the scallops are always spot on. Had them again last week, just as good as ever. That cheesecake too – never disappoints. It’s my go-to for a reason.

A real treat for train buffs. The food arrived quickly, which was nice. Had the fish and chips - the batter was crisp, chips decent. The whole steam train vibe is spot on, friendly staff too. A solid meal in a fun setting.

The prawn toast was a real treat, with those lovely juicy prawns. A nice, comfortable spot for a relaxed lunch.

Friendly pub with a nice outdoor area for summer. The beer selection is solid, and they had a couple of interesting craft options on tap that hit the spot.

Been coming here for ages. The staff are always so lively and friendly, they remember my usual order and make a point to chat. It’s that bit of extra care that keeps me coming back, honestly.

The Taste of Jamaica platter was a decent way to try a bit of everything. Everything came out hot and had good flavour. Portions were a little on the small side, but it was a nice meal.

Great spot by the harbour. Got a scoop of their vanilla ice cream and just sat watching the boats on the estuary. Simple, but exactly what you want on a sunny afternoon. The view really makes it.
