👍Recommendation reason: Huddersfield is a small town full of British pastoral style. Although it is not as well-known as cities such as London and Cambridge, its tranquility and beauty make people linger. The pace of life here is slow, suitable for travelers who want to get away from the hustle and bustle and find inner peace. Whether it is hiking, exploring historical sites, or tasting authentic food, Huddersfield can bring you a unique experience. 📍Address of attractions: Huddersfield is located in West Yorkshire, England, about 30 kilometers away from Manchester, with convenient transportation. 🚗Attraction transportation: 1️⃣ From London, it takes about 2.5 hours to reach Huddersfield Railway Station by train. 2️⃣ The transportation in the town is mainly walking, and the distance between attractions is close, which can be easily reached on foot. 3️⃣ If you want to go to surrounding towns, such as Slaithwaite, you can take a bus, which takes about 20 minutes by car. It is recommended to sit in the first row on the second floor of the bus, and the scenery along the way is beautiful. 👣 Tour route: 1️⃣ From Huddersfield Railway Station, it takes about 12 minutes to walk to the University of Huddersfield. Although the campus is small, the business school building is very distinctive and worth a visit. 2️⃣ From the university, walk along the main road for about 30-40 minutes to Castle Hill. This is the most famous attraction in Huddersfield. After climbing to the top, you can overlook the endless fields. The scenery is magnificent and very suitable for hiking enthusiasts. 3️⃣ If you have enough time, you can go to the nearby town of Slaithwaite to explore the antique shops there and find some unique vintage accessories or furs. 🍗 Food recommendation: 1️⃣ 88 noodle bar near the school, it is recommended to try bullfrog rice, the frog legs are plump and juicy, and the taste is excellent. 2️⃣ There are also some local restaurants and bars in the town, which offer authentic British cuisine, suitable for a break after hiking. 👍Must-visit attractions: 1️⃣ Castle Hill: This is Huddersfield's iconic attraction. After climbing to the top, you can overlook the entire town and the surrounding rural scenery. It is especially suitable for visiting at sunset, and the scenery is particularly magnificent. 2️⃣ University of Huddersfield: Although the campus is small, the architectural style is unique, especially the business school, which is worth a look. 3️⃣ Slaithwaite Antique Shop: If you like Vintage, this is definitely your paradise, where you can find many unique antique accessories and clothing. 🎫Ticket related: 1️⃣ Castle Hill and the University of Huddersfield are both free and open, and no tickets are required. 2️⃣ The antique shops in Slaithwaite are affordable and you can bargain. You can usually buy your favorite items for a few pounds. 💖Other tips: 1️⃣ The sunset is early in winter, so it is recommended to set off early to Castle Hill to avoid missing the best viewing time. 2️⃣ The prices in Huddersfield are relatively low, which is suitable for travelers with limited budgets. 3️⃣ If you like a quiet atmosphere, it is recommended to avoid weekends and holidays, the town will be more peaceful. 4️⃣ Remember to bring a camera, the scenery of Castle Hill is very suitable for taking pictures, especially at sunset. #創創動計劃分萬萬现金 #胡德斯田 #英旅行 #朋友圈被问爆地方 #晚会去哪

Staff are amazing ..very friendly and approachable without encroaching on our personal space . Went through the menu with me as I have a nut allergy.A hidden gem , lots of little private booths as well as a large open area. Outside wet garde which was clean and tidy.Food was excellent with a good variety and reasonably priced.Would definitely eat here again.

Service was very good, staff were very friendly and attentive - but not at all intrusive. Good selection on menu. Food was a generous portion and very tasty.

We had a family gathering, reflecting on the loss of a family member. The ambience and quality of environment at the Cow and Calf were excellent and we were seated at a lovely table. Each of us enjoyed our meals which were well-presented and delicious. The service was generally great. Coffees and drinks, however, were served so violently that they banged down loudly on the table and the coffees all slopped into their saucers. So extreme that it was comic, I actually laughed out loud, but this didn’t spoil our experience.
