I decided to visit this place after seeing a TikTok video, but it turned out to be a huge letdown. The food portions were significantly smaller than what was shown online. While the taste was decent, the overall experience was ruined by poor service. The waitress barely gave us a moment to settle in before pushing overpriced bottled water on us. She had already started pouring before I even had the chance to take off my coat. After a long wait, our food arrived cold, which was incredibly frustrating. To make matters worse, the kitchen is practically in the dining area, so the entire place fills up with smoke and cooking smells. Definitely not an enjoyable experience.

The owners are lovely, really humble. You can tell they care about the food. But I was a bit surprised by the portion sizes for the price. The main I ordered was tasty, just felt a bit light for what I paid.

The carnitas quesadilla was pretty good, and the guacamole was decent with nice avocado chunks. Could have used a bit more lime for my taste, but a solid meal overall.

The view of King's College from here is lovely. A nice place to sit with an ice cream when the sun's out.

Great Scotch eggs here, and the meat dishes are spot on. The fish was just okay, but the beer selection is fantastic.

We were a group of eight and they seated us straight away, no fuss. The staff were really chill about it, which made catching up with everyone so much easier. Perfect for a big, noisy get-together.

The food was excellent and reasonably priced. We had the Sunday roast which was plentiful and came with very generous amounts of gravy. The atmosphere was very chilled and welcoming, which is what we needed after a heavy slog in the Cambridge Half Marathon.Service was professional but also fun. The waiting staff put up with our banter and just seemed to be enjoying themselves.I definitely would visit again.

The staff, particularly Evie and Josh behind the bar, were absolutely brilliant and provided excellent service.

James was so helpful when we were deciding what to order, really patient and kind. That sort of service makes all the difference.
