Nice spot by the river, perfect for a relaxed dinner. The view from the Embankment is lovely. Food was decent, though the service was a bit slow this evening. Still, a fine place for the location.

Been coming here for years, and the pancakes are consistently spot on. Light, fluffy, just how I like them.

Lovely meal, food was delicious and beautifully presented. Menu had a good variety. The atmosphere in the pub was great. They suggested a local ale that paired perfectly with my steak and kidney pie. Really hit the spot.

Nadim and Numan are the best. They know the menu inside out and suggested a fantastic local red that went perfectly with my lamb. Made the whole evening so smooth. A bit of a wait for the bill, but honestly, their service was spot on.

I really appreciate how fresh the ingredients are here. The salad greens were crisp and the vegetables tasted like they were just picked. It's nice to know you're eating something wholesome. The space itself is very clean and cozy, which adds to the relaxed feel.

Loved how spacious it is here. Felt really comfortable just settling in with my laptop for a few hours. The free Wi-Fi was a nice touch. Perfect for when you need to get out of the house but still be productive.

Popped in for a late English breakfast. The bacon was nicely crisp, eggs runny just how I like them. Good portion of beans and mushrooms too. Pot of tea kept coming. Service was spot on, friendly without hovering. A solid, no-fuss fry-up.

Great spot for a catch-up with friends! The pastel de nata and decaf latte were a perfect little treat. It was quite busy though, so maybe not for a quiet chat.

Popped in for a solo breakfast and went for the avocado toast. It was spot on—really fresh, thick-cut sourdough and a generous sprinkle of seeds on top. The menu is huge though, almost too many options. Spent a good five minutes just deciding!

I had an amazing experience at The Embankment for my baby shower. The afternoon tea was delicious, and the service was impeccable. Tom, our host, was a delight!

The restaurant has a great ambience with fresh and delicious food, comfortable seating, and friendly staff, making it a perfect spot for a meal.

Been coming here for years. It's a proper little hideaway down the lane. Their milkshake is the real deal - thick, not too sweet. Always hits the spot. Prices are fair for what you get.

That Nasi Goreng at lunch was just the right kind of comforting. The flavours were spot on, and it felt like a proper, cosy meal. A bit of a wait for it, but honestly, it hit the spot.

Been coming here for years. That bacon brie cranberry toastie is my go-to lunch order. The brie is always properly melted and creamy, the bacon crisp. Hits the spot every time.

Great little spot in Sudbury. Breakfast was hot and cooked just right. Came out super quick, which is exactly what I needed. Solid choice when you're hungry.

Love the vegan choices here. The lentil salad was fresh, packed with crisp greens. Had a slice of the raw cashew cheesecake for dessert – you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. A nice spot for a light, wholesome meal.

The roast was spot on, really fresh and flavourful. But the atmosphere is what got me. The lighting and decor just felt so cosy and welcoming, like a proper Sunday should.

Ordered a last-minute cake, they were so helpful. The Italian vanilla sponge was lovely, really light. The creme patissiere filling wasn't overly sweet at all, which I appreciated. A nice change from the usual heavy buttercream.

The sausage roll here is the reason I keep coming back. The pastry is perfectly flaky and buttery, the sausage meat inside is really well-seasoned and moist. It's a proper homemade one, not like the dry, greasy ones you get elsewhere. Just a solid, classic version done right.

The coffee is fantastic, easily the best I've had in Newmarket. The owners are lovely and always have a smile, which makes stopping by feel really nice. A very comfortable spot for a quiet cuppa.

The vegan fish and chips are spot on! The batter is so light and crispy. A really nice spot for a chill coffee too.

Popped into Lottie's for a coffee. The pink decor inside and out is so cute, really brightens the place up. You can tell the owner puts her heart into it, service is always spot on. A nice little find.
