Service was fine, Ala was polite and helpful with our allergy. The bao buns were fresh and nicely presented. A decent spot for a casual meal.

Decent buffet for a business lunch. Good variety of hot dishes, all properly cooked and seasoned. Selection is solid, not overwhelming. Service was efficient, plates cleared quickly. Price is fair for the location.

Love the vegan choices here. The lentil salad was fresh, packed with crisp greens. Had a slice of the raw cashew cheesecake for dessert – you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. A nice spot for a light, wholesome meal.

The roast was spot on, really fresh and flavourful. But the atmosphere is what got me. The lighting and decor just felt so cosy and welcoming, like a proper Sunday should.

Ordered a last-minute cake, they were so helpful. The Italian vanilla sponge was lovely, really light. The creme patissiere filling wasn't overly sweet at all, which I appreciated. A nice change from the usual heavy buttercream.

Been here a few times now. The ramen is a solid, reliable choice. What I really appreciate is their wine list – found a nice, light red that went surprisingly well with the rich broth. Menu has good variety too, including some decent veggie options.

A hidden gem on Castle Road. My husband's lemon cake looked so good, but he wouldn't share a single bite!

My go-to for a quick lunch is their gorgonzola pizza. Tried it with pesto this time, solid suggestion. Flavour really pops. Always in and out fast for collection. 👍

The game tasting menu was the highlight. The venison was cooked just right, tender with a hint of smokiness. Alex's wine pairings explained each choice well, which helped. A solid meal, though the final dessert felt a bit too sweet for my taste.

The food was lovely, but the portions felt a bit small for what you pay. Their wine list did have some nice options to pair with the meal though.

Roast dinner is solid. The turkey was surprisingly moist, which is a plus. Service was prompt, didn't have to wait long for our table or the food. Good for a straightforward meal.

Scallops were incredible. Melt-in-your-mouth texture. The chocolate samosa with pistachio ice cream was the standout though. Perfect end to the meal.

The Sunday roast is a solid choice. It's a generous portion cooked from scratch, though the gravy was a touch salty for me.

Ronnie was really helpful and friendly. He explained the specials clearly and made sure we had everything we needed. Good service makes a difference.

The full English was spot on, and the coffee paired nicely. A lovely riverside spot, staff were friendly too.

Popped in for a quick drink but the place was so cosy we decided to stay. Had the Italian bread toastie, which was really nice, with crisps and a little salad. The booths are super comfortable, perfect for a relaxed lunch.

Portions are huge. Got the steak and pasta, couldn't finish either. Even the dessert was massive. Good quality for the price.

Found this place after a few letdowns. The sea bream was cooked just right, and the fillet steak was lovely. What really stood out was the service—our server was so friendly and attentive, which made the whole evening feel relaxed and easy. A nice, comfortable spot.

The team was really on it tonight. Ciara in particular, she remembered our drinks order and checked back at just the right times. Everything came out fast, which was nice. Made for a relaxed dinner.

Been coming here for years. Rachel and the team always remember you, service is spot on without being fussy. Makes a midweek dinner feel easy.

Been coming here for years, and the fact they're always cool with dogs and kids is a big plus for us. Makes it a reliable spot when we're out with the whole crew. Just easy.

The decor is so fun and quirky, love it! Came for trivia night and the vibe was spot on. The menu has some really interesting options too – I tried the halloumi fries and they were a fun twist.

The lamb biryani is the reason I keep coming back. The rice is perfectly spiced, not just heat but real depth. The meat falls apart. Generous portion, could easily feed two.

The mixed grill was huge, definitely a sharing dish. Started with the red pepper hummus and feta mila, which were great. The house red they suggested actually paired really well with all the grilled meats. A solid choice.

Had the Bavette steak and Short Rib from the spring menu. The sauces were interesting, really complemented the meat. The whole place just felt premium. A lovely addition to St Ives.

The endless carvery is the star here. They kept bringing out fresh cuts of roast beef and lamb right to the table. Went back for seconds, maybe thirds. Solid feed for the price.

The food here is genuinely different from your usual Indian spot. Portions are generous for the price, which is a nice change.
