Cochon Dingue, a famous restaurant in Quebec, Canada|||Figure 1. There is a famous restaurant Le Cochon Dingue (Little Pig Restaurant) on Petite Champlain Street in Quebec. This restaurant has many chain stores, but only the one on Champlain Street has a little pig sculpture. The restaurant provides menus in French and English. Figures 2, 3 Brunch Plate BRUNCH PLATE (22.95CAD) Eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, cranberry bread, maple pancakes, crichton and baked beans The French family at the table next to me ordered this. It seems that locals prefer their basic breakfast. The baked beans are delicious. The pancakes taste sweet because of the maple syrup. I personally like their sausages and later added 2 more. Figure 4 Fragrant seafood pot FAMOUS POT-EN-POT (31.95CAD) Lobster, crab, shrimp, scallops, salmon and potato sauce. Served with green salad. This seafood pot is very similar to seafood chowder, except that the salmon and shrimp are larger than the ingredients in ordinary seafood chowder, and the portion is also very affordable. Figure 5 QUEBEC PORK RIBS (small portion 27.95CAD, large portion 32.95CAD) Maple smoked and grilled pork ribs, served with scooped potatoes, harissa mayonnaise and Caesar salad. This is the restaurant's signature dish. If you come here for the first time, you must order it. It is sweet, the meat tastes good, and it is well-marinated and well-deserved. 👍🏻 Figure 6 FRENCH ONION SOUP MADE (10.95CAD) This soup is a local specialty, but it is very salty. There is a piece of toast under the cheese, but I think the taste is very strong and I can't drink it. Figure 7 CREME BRULEE WITH VANILLA (8.25 CAD) The brulee with golden caramel surface is a very tempting and delicate dessert, sweet but not greasy, my favorite dessert.
