Byblos is an important port city in Lebanon. In ancient times, a large amount of Egyptian papyrus was imported from here to Greece and other European countries. Byblos restaurant in downtown Toronto specializes in Eastern Mediterranean cuisine. Along the restaurant's exterior wall, there are many outdoor seats shaded by flowers and trees.
This is a very popular shop, because of its good location, in a busy traffic area. It was quite late, and there was still a queue at the door. It's similar to a hamburger place, and you can take it away.
One of the few Middle Eastern Mediterranean cuisines in Toronto, the Lebanese dumplings are delicious. Lamb is a specialty of the Middle East and you can try it. It does not have the mutton smell of Qiemo County and is roasted just right and very tender.
I made a reservation before coming, so I sat down right away. I have to give special praise to the atmosphere of the restaurant, which plays jazz music and feels very cozy. I ordered a family meal, which was very thin, and with the tip and tax, it was $75, which was a reasonable price. Overall, it's worth it, you can give it a try.
