The pork belly was spot on, and their house red was a surprisingly good match. Everyone enjoyed it.

The three-course menu was the move. The lamb shank was cooked for hours, fell right off the bone. The jus was rich, not too salty. Could have used a bit more of that mash though.

Service is much quicker now, and the place feels cleaner. The new team is definitely making a difference.

Lovely little cafe, perfect for a sunny day. We grabbed one of the outdoor booths and it was just the spot for a long catch-up with friends. The staff were so nice, really made us feel welcome.

The staff were so helpful with my gluten-free request. They really knew their stuff and made me feel looked after. A nice touch!

The pager system is pretty handy. Grabbed a coffee next door while waiting, didn't have to just stand around. Made the wait feel shorter.

Popped in for a quick drink, they had treats for the dog at the bar which was a nice touch. Staff were really sound, managed to squeeze us in even though it was packed.

Popped in for a quick lunch while shopping. The kids' play area is a lifesaver - they loved the slides and climbing frame. Gave us a proper 20 minutes to actually eat our food in peace.

Arrived early and the restaurant was very busy, but within 5minutes were where taken and showed to our table. we were asked if the area was okay and also if we were allergic to any ingredients, and informed that our waiter was called Nia. About 5minutes Nia arrived and again asked if were were allergic to any ingredients, then asked if we were ready to order, otherwise she would give us more time. She took our order, and delivered our drinks and my starter. The Prawn Cocktail that I had was exactly as I liked it and after eating it, we went and got our roast meals. Overhaul the food and drinks were perfect, the lady who showed us to our table came and checked to see if everything was fine, which it was. Nia, the lady who took our order and brought my Prawn Cocktail plus drinkswas charming and very helpful as was the other lady with short hair who took us to our table. Please convey our thanks to both of them, we have been many times before and always have never been disappointed there.

Really nice staff, super friendly and attentive. Felt totally welcome even though we rolled in straight from a hike in our gear. Professional but still warm, which was a nice touch.

Olya was really nice and helpful with her suggestions. We shared the seafood platter, it was lovely. Just a nice, relaxed meal.

Quiz night with the live band was a blast. The vibe was spot on. My usual pizza, the spicy salami, still hit the mark – crispy base, good quality pepperoni. A solid Wednesday night out.

The cocktail menu really caught my eye. I tried the 'Garden Spritz' – it was so pretty and balanced, with fresh herbs. Really lifted the whole dinner.

Service was spot on when we had a hiccup with our order. Really appreciated how they handled it.

Cheeky Monday deal is solid. Food came out hot and fresh, perfect for a quick lunch. Service was quick and efficient, got me in and out in no time.

The king prawns and T-bone were spot on. It's the kind of place where you can just settle in for a proper meal without any fuss. The lighting is warm and the chairs are actually comfortable, which is a nice change.

Lunch menu's a steal. Got the pasta special, portion was huge. Garlic bread on the house was a nice surprise. Couldn't finish it all. Solid spot for a midday feed.

The cocktails were spot on, and the bar snacks were a nice touch. Service was attentive but not overbearing.

The duck hash here is seriously good. Big portions for the price, too. My friend and I split it and still had leftovers. Drinks were a nice bonus, not overpriced. Solid spot.

Been here a few times for a Sunday roast. The beef is always tender, proper Yorkshire puddings too. It's a reliable spot for that kind of meal. Gets busy with families, so service can be a bit stretched.

Sho and the team were great with our big birthday booking. The wine list had some nice options to start the evening.

Steak night was a solid choice. The rib-eye was spot on medium-rare, and that peppercorn sauce was fantastic. Chips were nice and crispy too.

Good beer selection, decent non-alcoholic options too. The sticky toffee pudding was spot on. Service was efficient, got the bill quickly. Solid spot for a straightforward business lunch.

Garlic butter and paprika chips were the highlight. Cocktails are reliable, the smoked peach one is a good call. Decent spot for a quick bite and a drink.

Always busy on weekends, but the food keeps me coming back.
