Busy event weekend, but the staff were super organised. Got my food quickly, no stress. Impressive how they kept the energy up.

Lovely old building with exposed beams, so much character. The staff are really friendly, which makes for a relaxing atmosphere. A pleasant break from the usual.

Just ordered their fish and chips for the first time. Everything arrived piping hot, even the chips were still crisp. All the little pots of tartare sauce and mushy peas were there too. Exactly what you want from a delivery.

Steak sandwich and gammon were solid choices for a quick lunch. Chunky chips were spot on. Chocolate torte was a bit too rich for me, but good. Got in and out in under 45 mins, which is what I needed.

Friendly spot, good drinks selection. Prices are very reasonable, which is a plus. The recent renovations definitely help, feels brighter and more welcoming inside now.

Booked online, no hassle. The Sunday slow-cooked beef was the star - fork-tender and so moist. Portions are huge, couldn't finish mine. Staff were good about letting us know when the food was running a bit late, which was nice.

Stayed a few nights. The room was spotless and modern. Really liked the thoughtful touches - having a fridge and microwave was super handy. The bed was super comfy too.

Stopped in with the family. The kids' menu had so many choices, which was a lifesaver. Everything arrived at the same time, nice and hot. Made for a pretty relaxed dinner for once.

Been coming here for years, and the baguettes are always spot on. They bake them fresh all morning, so you know you're getting a good one. The fillings are a proper selection too. Never had a bad lunch here.

Popped in for lunch. The fish linguini was creamy and rich, really hit the spot. Service was friendly and chatty, they talked us through the specials which was nice. Solid spot.

The staff were so friendly even when they were clearly busy. We got seated straight away and they checked on us just the right amount. It made for a really relaxed lunch.

Booked ahead for a Sunday lunch. Everything arrived quickly and the service was really smooth. The roast was spot on, especially the crispy potatoes. Just a nice, easy meal.

Been coming here for years, and the Sunday set menu is still a solid choice. It's the kind of reliable quality that keeps me coming back. Just a heads up for parents, they don't have a baby changing station.

The staff were so kind when they were out of the quinoa salad. They offered a lovely lentil dish instead and gave me a larger portion. Really appreciated that.

Had our wedding party here and the team was brilliant. Natalie in particular was on top of everything, from the little details to the big moments. They really made the day run smoothly.

A decent spot for a drink. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was quite relaxed. It's nice that they allow dogs, though the garden area could do with a bit of a tidy.

Solid old-school cafe. Honest food, good cake selection. Staff are friendly, and it's always buzzing with locals. Just a nice, straightforward spot for a cuppa and a slice.

Booked for a Saturday evening. Service was prompt, food arrived hot and well-prepared. The pub was busy, good atmosphere. Parking outside is limited, used the public car park nearby. Solid choice for a straightforward meal.

Nice spot by the water for a quick bite after a walk. Got the fish and chips. Came out fast, which was perfect. Tasted good, hit the spot. 👍 Staff were friendly. Good for when you're in a hurry.
