Hosted a charity event here last month. The staff were so helpful, really went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. For the price we paid for the room hire, that level of support was a pleasant surprise. Made organising it much less stressful.

Solid spot for a quick pint. The beer selection is decent, and the old photos on the walls are a nice touch - spotted a few actors from movies filmed around here. Perfect for a fast stop.

The chips here are spot on. Proper crispy outside, fluffy inside. The haddock was fresh and the batter was light, not greasy at all. Portion size is decent for the price. Just a solid, classic fish and chips.

The chicken wrap was a nice surprise. Really big portion for the price, under &pound;8. Perfect for a quick lunch in the town centre.

Really appreciated that they were open on the bank holiday when everywhere else was shut. The staff were friendly and it felt like good value for money.

Been coming here for years for a pint. The Guinness is always spot on, poured right. It&#39;s a proper local for a quiet drink and a chat.
