The food was so beautifully presented, almost too pretty to eat! The whole place felt so warm and clean, which was lovely with our little one in tow. A really nice, relaxed spot.

The full English breakfast was lovely. The eggs and beans were spot on. I really appreciate that they serve everything on hot plates – it makes such a difference, keeping everything warm right to the last bite. A very comfortable and thoughtful touch.

Cosy spot with a proper log fire, which was a lifesaver last night. The drinks list is decent, had a lovely local cider. Just the right vibe for a chilled catch-up with mates, not too loud.

The pizza was spot on. The crust had that lovely chewy texture you only get from a proper wood-fired oven. Toppings tasted really fresh. A solid choice for a casual bite.

Tried the green and red curries on my first visit. The green curry had such a nice depth of flavour, really fresh tasting. Decent portions with rice and crackers too.

The sharing platter was a decent amount of food, almost too much! The cold starters were pretty good. Staff were nice and boxed up the leftovers.

Got the chicken wings, burger, fries, and lasagna delivered. Everything was still hot, which is rare. The burger was massive, and the wings were juicy. Lasagna was just right. Solid delivery for a weeknight.

The ploughman's lunch was great, and the house ale was a perfect match for the ham and cheese.

Decent quick lunch spot. Menu had some interesting options, went with the special. Portion was just right for a midday bite, and the plate looked good. Got me in and out fast.

The fish and chips was a generous portion, perfectly crisp. Went for a pint of their house lager to cut through the richness, which worked a treat. Service was spot-on, no complaints there. The carbonara was decent, but the fish was the star.

Been coming here for years, and the breakfasts are always spot on. The eggs are cooked just right every single time, and the bacon is never greasy. It’s the one thing I know I can count on.

The live music was a nice touch, but honestly, I was just there for the beer. The lager on tap was crisp and clean, exactly what I wanted. It's a solid pint in a lively spot.

The vibe here is so nice for catching up with friends. We had the grilled salmon and it was spot on. Service was quick and friendly, which kept the conversation flowing. Prices felt fair for the area. A solid spot for a relaxed dinner out.

The thin crust pizza was a real highlight. The base had a nice crisp to it, and the toppings tasted fresh and well-balanced. Just the right amount of cheese, too. Solid choice for a casual dinner.

Stopped in for a late lunch. The ploughman's was solid, really thick ham. The cawl had these big chunks of beef in it, proper hearty. Pots of tea are huge, kept me going for ages. Nice spot to just sit for a bit.

Been coming here for years, and the food is always spot on. I popped in for a quick lunch today and it was just as good as ever. The staff are really friendly, which makes it a nice, relaxed place to eat.

The chicken was so tender it fell apart, and the sauces had this lovely depth. Really hit the spot. Just a bit on the pricey side for what it was, but I left feeling properly satisfied.

Been coming here for years, and the veggie breakfast is still my go-to. Those sausages are spot on every time. Appreciate that they’ll still sort it out for me if I’m running a bit late.

The lady who greeted us was so helpful with the menu. All five courses tasted incredibly fresh, you could tell the ingredients were just-picked.

The indoor bowls here are top-notch. Came to watch a tournament and it was a really pleasant way to spend an afternoon. Grabbed a pint and a bite from the on-site cafe, which was handy.

Sunday carvery delivered early, still piping hot. Good portion for the price. The gravy was a bit thin, but the wine I had at home paired nicely with the roast beef. Solid option for a lazy Sunday.

The menu has more variety than most fish and chip places. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Walked in without a reservation on a Tuesday evening. Staff found us a table without fuss. Orders were taken promptly, food came out in good time. Efficient service made for a straightforward business dinner.

Nice spot for a coffee. The espresso is good and the staff are friendly. They do ice cream on sunny days, which is a nice touch.

A really nice spot with a friendly, bustling vibe. The staff were so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I appreciated the little touches, like the shelf of second-hand books to browse. The food was reasonably priced, though I did miss having oat milk for my coffee.

Always my go-to for a reliable takeaway. The food is consistently good and travels really well, so it's still hot and fresh when I get home. It's just a very easy, no-fuss option.
