Great spot for families. The kids were happy watching the lake. The staff handled a forgotten allergy with no fuss, which was appreciated.

Service was spot on when we had a hiccup with our order. Really appreciated how they handled it.

As a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised by the menu options. The kale and tahini salad was fresh and had a nice kick to it. Portion was decent too.

Busy Sunday brunch spot. Their Scottish eggs are spot on - perfectly runny yolk, crisp sausage. The breakfast brioche was good, but the banana bread with bacon was the real star. Sweet, salty, and just the right amount of greasy. A solid find.

Been coming here for years. The Sunday roast is always spot on, and that view over the bay never gets old. It's the consistency that keeps me coming back. Andreas and Alex always make sure you're looked after.

Upstairs brasserie is the move. The duck confit was spot on — crispy skin, tender meat, and the jus was just right. A nice step up from the cafe vibe downstairs.

I enjoyed a lovely lunch at The Hive with good-sized portions and delicious food. Definitely a place to visit if you're in the area.

The interior is just stunning. Love the high ceilings and those huge windows letting in all the light. Felt really spacious and airy, a nice change from some of the more cramped spots around.

Steak was top notch, cooked just right. Beer list had some interesting local options. Quick service for a sit-down meal, got me in and out during a busy lunch hour.

Been coming here for years. It's the cosy, relaxed vibe that keeps me coming back. Always feels like a proper local pub, even on busy nights.

Booked ahead, small place. No menu, just the daily specials described in Italian. Three courses about £50. BYOB, no corkage.

Booked weeks ahead, and I'm glad we did. The space is tiny, maybe ten tables? Felt cosy, not cramped. The low lighting and those mismatched vintage chairs gave it such a warm, intimate vibe. A proper little hideaway.

Polite staff, and the food was pretty good. I did think the portions were a bit small for the price, though. Still, it was a decent meal.

The staff were so kind to my little one, bringing out colouring pencils and paper to keep him busy. It made such a difference for us to have a peaceful meal. Really thoughtful touch.

Came in for the large breakfast on a Monday. The young server was so kind about swapping out an item for me. Portions were huge, and that little pot of tea on the side just hit the spot. A really nice, quiet start to the week.

Quick and friendly service. Perfect for a fast bite.

The beer garden is a nice spot on a sunny day. They've got a decent range of beers on tap, which is what I come for. Prices are fair. That's really all I'm looking for in a pub.

Been coming here for years. The fish and chips are always spot on. The batter's light and crisp, and the cod is cooked just right. A proper local chippy.

Service was a bit slow when I visited. Coffee was very good though, and the staff were friendly. Cakes were nice, prices reasonable. Noticed a donation box for bread to feed the ducks, which is a nice touch.
