Been coming here for years. The frutti di mare salad is always the reason I book a table. Fresh, generous with the seafood, and that dressing just hits right every single time. It’s the one dish I know I can count on.

The building itself is really something. You can feel the history in the old stone walls and high ceilings. It just makes the whole meal feel a bit more interesting, you know?

The grilled fish was the star for me, perfectly cooked. The fried seafood wasn't oily at all, which is a nice change. Everything tasted super fresh.

Clean place, well organized. The pool is a nice touch. They really pay attention to what you need. My only note is the wine list felt a bit limited for the setting. A few more interesting reds by the glass would've been perfect.

The staff squeezed us in during carnival chaos. Food was solid, and the house red paired nicely with the pasta.

Been coming here for years, and the stout is always on point. Dark, smooth, the right kind of bitter. It's the one thing I know won't change. Music's good too, never too loud to talk.

Been coming here for years, the meat board is always a solid choice. Portions are generous, flavors are on point. It's my go-to when I'm craving something hearty.

The complimentary starter was a nice touch. Good wine by the carafe too, all for a fair price.

Menu is concise, focuses on fresh local ingredients. Pasta dishes like the trofie al pesto are simple but well-executed.

Davide and Misir were the best servers! So friendly and made the whole dinner feel like a fun hangout with friends. The tiramisu was incredible, definitely a top dessert for our trip. A great spot to catch up with the girls.

Service was polite and efficient, even for us non-Italian speakers. Food arrived quickly. The pasta was cooked just right, al dente. A pleasant change from other spots where you wait forever.

The food here is solid. We had the pasta special and it was cooked just right. Service was friendly, not rushed. It's a popular spot with locals, which says something. Prices are fair for what you get.

The tea served in the dining room was so fresh and fragrant. A lovely, calming note to the meal.

The magician going table to table on Friday night was such a fun surprise! Made our girls' night out even better.

Family-run spot, super cozy. Staff remembered my name from last time and checked in just enough. Felt like dropping by a friend's place more than a restaurant.

The service was incredibly attentive, and the vegetarian dishes, especially the ravioli with fondue and truffle, were absolutely delicious!

Quick walk from my hotel. Ordered the pasta special. Came out fast, tasted good. Staff was friendly. Perfect for a quick lunch.

Nice, clean place. Staff were super friendly, made me feel comfortable right away. Just stopped in for a coffee and ended up staying longer than planned.

The staff is always so friendly. As regulars, they've even helped us pick up a bit more Italian over the years.

The tasting menu was the star. The cacio e pepe was so rich, and the squid clam chowder had this incredible depth. Every plate looked like a little piece of art.

The takeaway fried fish and chips were fine for the price. The seating area outside was a nice spot to rest after a long walk.

A lovely spot in Monterosso. The seats are comfortable, which made for a very relaxed dinner. Chef Luigi's passion really comes through in the food.

The seafood pasta was the star. Clams and mussels tasted super fresh, and the pasta had that perfect al dente bite. Really hit the spot.

Dinner at this restaurant was our best culinary experience in Lucca! They even had French champagne for a spontaneous belated 80th celebration. And did not charge when one guest told them the hanger steak starter was not to his liking. Lemon meringue pie could have been more ‘lemoney’, otherwise all food and wine was innovative and delicious. Strongly recommended!

The swordfish rolls were so tender and the orange flavor was just right. A really nice spot for authentic Sicilian food.

The Tuscan dishes here are cooked just right. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted, especially in the simple pasta. The portions are quite generous, too.

Tried the tordelli lucchesi on a quick lunch break. Meat was flavorful and cooked just right. Got my order fast, which was perfect. A solid spot for a taste of Lucca when you're in a hurry.

The freshly made maccheroni with wild boar was the star. That rich, earthy sauce clung to the pasta just right. A really lovely dish. The house wine is a steal, too.

The set menu was pretty good. The farfalle with cod ragù was decent, and the seafood salad tasted fresh. A solid meal overall.
