TheForkUserApart from the problem of finding a taxi from the centre of Carcassonne to get to the place everything there after was more than we’d hoped for. On arrival we were met by a warm and friendly lady got the evening going by guiding us down to the restaurant and the waiting staff who led us through the evening with great skill but friendliness as well. The food and drink were so far beyond what I was expecting that I’m not sure how we can go any better. 10/10 doesn’t do the place justiceLa Taverne Moderne

TheForkUserGreat food if somewhat confusing service. We think they did not put our order through as the tables around us, who ordered after us, were served well before us! However, once we were served it was all delicious and worth the wait. The cassoulet was very good indeed as was the bouquet of vegetables entrée with tapenade. Alas, we had no room for a dessert which looked very tempting on adjacent tables, especially the Valrhona chocolate finger. An apology for the very delayed service would have been nice but we didn’t complain as the waiter and waitress were very pleasant.Tablao Flamenco

The menu was outstanding, and the food was perfectly prepared and presented with lots of attention to detail and nuance. The chef spent a lot of time with us explaining the dishes, discussing which ones were suitable to be prepared gluten-free, and making wine pairing recommendations. Everything was amazing. We were not disappointed - all our dishes tasted wonderful. The only downside - 2 large tables of what we assume were corporate guests. Their noise took over the whole restaurant. It was a shame they didn’t have their own dining room. But. We will be back - and probably quite frequently when in Beziers.Le Laouzas
